SSI,
I went through the entire last season with your roadie 1-2-4 ARL system. I had to guesstimate the ARL based on the ML, but whatever. The net of it is that you have to stay away from the shitty teams and two game series. On the season the net is about +4 units. HOWEVER, the teams that finished at or above .500 were +220 units, you can figure out what the losing teams were. I have it all on a spreadsheet if you want to see or discuss. More than happy to give you my direct email address or phone number. Looking at it further, 201 of the 217 units on the losing side (under .500 teams) belong to the teams below .450 winning percentages. Only one of those 7 teams was better than -2905, strangely it was +5185 (Pitts). I have to think that is an anomaly.
In short, I am doing it and I am staying away from the dogshit teams. I am going to figure out the 7 or 8 worst teams (my interpretation) and stay away, probably even take the home team on the 1-2-4 at -1.5 when they play. I would be interested to hear your thoughts as well as get some thoughts on the worst 7 or 8. I am thinking Fla, Pitts, TB, Sea, KC for sure.
