21-15 YTD.

tonights plays:

New Orleans +4
Detroit +3
Den-2.5

all for 1 unit, sorry about last night guys, it was just a horrendous 1-4 night. looking back over my records over the last 110 games that ive played, i noticed my record was 64-46, which is very good.. however when digging into this record, i noticed that i was 53-31 on sides and 11-15 on totals.. with this in hand, ill be cutting way back on totals.. this was for all sports and all based on 1 unit.. at times, one must go back to basics and for me thats about 85-90% sides and about the same percentage being simply 1 unit plays.. so heres to getting back on track..

also for those that were following, i am not a systems player, ive monitored them and tried them but in the end, they simply dont work for me. what works for me, is knowledge of the teams and games, that come from following it on a daily basis...

SSI, I agree with you. i don't have a good faith in systems either. I go with knowledge of games and base on what i feel on the game. I moniter the last ten games of the teams and go with it. So far i haven't done bad

.

For the games i go with totals then sides more. I like ur New Orleans pick. My prediction for the game is Boston will lead for first half and then tumble again in second half.. By the way i am a big Celts fan

I've always felt that perhaps it was a bit naive on my part, but I have never used a system of any sort. Only with certain games do I even look at trends, and even then only to confirm my own feeling.

What works with me is being attuned to the energies of certain games and feeling of what the likely turnout will be. Sometimes it is so obvious it's strange that everyone does not immediately see it -- such as the last two plays against Miss St, or LSU's rout over Alabama. I know many of you KNEW that it was OBVIOUS that LSU would cover, while to me it was just as obvious that MSU could never cover those two games. In my experience if it doesn't become completely obvious by gametime, then don't play it. Don't ever just guess. Look for those that are obvious, and the percentages will work out just fine.

Just another guy's notes on how he goes about it. Take care, fellows (and gals).
