I don't know, but I'm starting to think I'm a square for going against all these square picks. :dogtoilet

From The Gold Sheet this week:

1-3 point dogs are 32-21 ATS

3.5 and higher HOME dogs are 5-16 ATS

Dogs overall 78-73 ATS

So who wants the Giants this weekend. You can call it squares, but never bet against a hot team.

The only play on this game was Indy -7 on Sunday night
Excellent call RED EYE

How in the world they could open that number that low is beyond me.

That was a very bad line........especially when you consider the game went to -10 and the Colts covered with ease.

If recent form is any indication, DALLAS will win by THREE.

Thanks JJ, but alot of its common sense and you just have to know which way the line is going to go. Public loves these hot teams like Indy. The best days to make your plays are Sunday night, Friday with the various 1/2 point giveaways and line moves on Sunday Am. Injuries of course dicate plays during the week. Even if you might like Detroit in this game you ahve to get your early money on Indy-7 just in case thats going to be your final position

BetOnSports reported losing over 3 million this past Sunday.

Coupled with other factors, their stock price fall 50%!

I rarely bet parlays myself. Totals in the 50's don't interest me on either side

you guys go overboard too much.......

if the square pick loses, folks are getting destroyed...

if the square pick wins, books are going out of business, its all over but the fat lady...bla bla bla....

dont put so much emphasis on one particular game or even on one particular betting option...

Yes the colts won, yes, they beat the crap out of Detroit but at the same time the game did stay under and that hurt many people. Tons were also bet on the over and even though Im not going to go back and check how much were bet on parlays *with the over* there must have been plenty of money cause we werent destroyed by the result...

Winning and losing is not based on two or three days or a one week criteria, its merely a grind.

On to todays college football....

Nice time for a heads up JJ. As players we'd be fools to ignore what is going on. Stick with the well established books, especially with the latest runs. Might not be too early to start paring down your exposure if you're in some smaller to mid-sized joints. I promise you there are some books with some big time concerns right now. If you see some of these mom and pop stores start to gamble or doing something out of character be careful, they may be taking positions on purpose to try and gamble their way out ala Aces Gold. Now more than ever play with the big boys, no sense gambling on the game AND the pay-out.
