I watch EVERY "boring" Spurs game and I love this team...BUT, I really do expect Pop to rest some starters tomorrow/today against OKC. If you like to play the "middle" bets this might have a big jump once the starting lineup is announced. I would be very surprised to see Tim Duncan play tomorrow. Coach Pop will be content going 0-4 against OKC and has no problems resting guys just to stick it to the NBA on national TV. (he honestly doesn't give a damn about the winning streak). In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili sit out on a back-to-back. We'll see what he decides to do. Good Luck either way!
I would be more inclined to make a play on the Spurs knowing all their stars are sitting. Line will be generous and you just never know how the back up scrubs will play. If the stars for the Spurs did play I wouldn't make a play on them, I would prefer they sit like you are speculating. How many times have we seen a team full of back ups give a first string team a scare as a big dog. Didn't the Spurs back up almost beat the Heat's first string last year on National TV? Wasn't Pop fined for resting his players? Bring on the back ups, the play just gets that much better!
