Lets do some math assuming Spurs wins here is my personal guess at the subsequent numbers:
1: -235 70.15%
2: -190 65.52%
3: +160 38.46%
4: +120 45.45%
Muliply the percentages and you get: 8.03% chance of a sweep or in math we understand +1145. So 14/1 may not be that bad of a price after all...

At 14/1 I think it's a good bet. Spurs have won, what, 15 in a row. 4 more certainly isn't out of the question if the Lakers just can't put it together. And what if Shaq gets hurt or something? Let's say Shaq got hurt in Game 1, I'd be surprised if the Lakers could win any of the games without him.

Exactly, the 14 to 1 offers some value, and it does not have to hit, just get me to game #4 and it will be a big earner. It is high, in relationship to money lines. Will it cash, probably not. But answer me this, how many have to hit, for me to make money in this spot? If I listened to all of the naysayers whenever I looked at a big dog, I would never hit the big dogs. Sometimes you have to think can something happen, but nobody believe it will? Best sweep example, underdog Reds against A's, 40-1 to sweep. Oops, that was not supposed to happen.
