Wanted to release this line early as I believe Vegas made a typo, Oklahoma should be -3.5 to -4 not +, take Oklahoma +3.5 to +4 where ever you can get it.

i think stoops bites it again in the big game and is totally outcoached by urban meyer. give me florida all day.

Urban Meyer has every bit of my respect going 80% ATS, but he doesn't control the intensity of his opponents. Oklahoma has been on a complete domination streak in there last 5 games, destroying every team in there path. Florida skid by the last cover against Bama, who is a great team by college standards but Bamas record is more luck than skill if ask me. Oklahoma is all skill.

Oki was putting up better numbers against tougher opponents, Florida's schedule was a cake walk by their standards.

Ty Roll, Zags really went away with it second half.

IMO Bama had a much easier schedule than both teams.

Florida dealt with slightly better defenses not the difference you guys are making it out to be..

The SEC has littered the NFL with first rounder after first rounder on the defensive side of the ball... I've seen many sec/big 12 games this year, the SEC is faster, deeper and flat out better on the defensive side. Just my opinion as I prefer the eyeball test first and stats second even though the stats also favor Florida.

I love how all the arguments against Oki are general conf. info. Lets start looking at team vs team. Oki wins it easily, statistically and otherwise.

It would be interesting to be able to know if Harvin is going to be at full "speed" (not just by newspaper accounts and injury updates) but the real story.

Irregardless what the injury was, it will be a long lay-off for him from midway thru the Florida State game until the championship game (January 8,2009).

I wouldn't elevate Meyer to legendary status just jet. You know Stoops does have a national title under his belt and OU as a school has "7". We know our recent bowl play is bad and don't need to be constantly reminded. All I'm saying is don't count your chickens my friend as your precious Gators are going to have a game on their hands. The Sooners don't have the luxury of playing at home in these big games so just keep talking. You "might" be in for a big disappointment.
