Back to back nights with 1 point losses. Although last night's loss was the worst, as Houston covered the entire game, except for the final margin. Going to lower the units until I can start winning again. Three plays for tonight....
Chicago Bulls +4.5 1.5 Units
Two teams that are going in different directions health wise right now. Both Calderon and O'Neal will miss the game tonight. Both Deng and Hinrich are back for Chitown. Hoping Gooden plays tonight, he is listed as questionable. He has played well since coming back from injury. With or without him, I think the Bulls will have the better talent on the court tonight. A close game that can go either way in my opinion.
Washington/New York Over 200 1.5 Units
Total real low here due to the fact that both teams have been having a hard time score the ball recently. However, I have to play what my numbers tell me. Both teams are horrific defensively, both allowing 48% shooting by the opposition. Each of the past 4 meetings have gone over this posted total, including the matchup earlier this season at MSG, which ended 122-117. If this one is played at the pace I am expecting, this one should be played into the 200's.
Miami Heat +6 1.5 Units
Well aware of how badly the Bucks beat the Heat down here in Miami earlier this season, however a few Heat players have been talking about avenging that loss. I really feel that the Heat are the better team. They have the better defense and also have what I feel is the most complete player in the NBA. He has single handidly won games for the Heat on several occasions this season. Another game that I feel is a complete tossup. I will take the poiNts.
