Lost by a point last night with the Bulls team total. After going on a nice winning streak, I have now lost three straight. Very frustrating season so far, but still a long way to go.
Charlotte/Detroit Over 175 2 Units
Total very low here in my opinion. Pistons should get both Rip and Rasheed back for tonight. Both will surely help out the Pistons scoring. Pistons usually score well against this Bobcats team, as they have averaged 101 ppg in the past 10 meetings. Each of those 10 meetings have gone over this posted total. I see more of the same tonight.
Miami/Minnesota Under 198.5 2 Units
Wolves have been scoring well lately, however those games have been against some of the worst defenses in the league. Tonight they face a very underrated defense. The Heat rank 4th in the league in defensive FG%, holding opponents to under 44% from the field. The Wolves are a team that can go through scoring droughts. These two don't usually play high scoring games, with only 2 of the past 10 matchups between these two going over this posted total. I see a game played in the low 190's.
Houston Rockets +4 2 Units
Rockets not the only team that is dealing with injuries. The Lakers are without Farmar, Walton, and now Sasha Vujacic. Odom has missed the last few games, but may return tonight. Although the Lakers have been winning lately, I have seen a ton of their games and have come away unimpressed. They just barely squeeked by both Miami and Indiana at home, two teams that they should have handled a little easier in my opinion. Before that was a come from behind win at Golden State and a home loss against New Orleans. Not too impressive. Now they are 4 point favorites on the road against a very good Houston team. Even with the injuries, the Rockets have been playing better as of late. Rockets have won three straight, including a win at Boston and a 20 point drubbing of the Knicks last time out. I see the Rockets keeping this one close tonight, if not getting the outright win.
May add one more later. Be back in a little while....
