Coming off of a horrible Ofer night last night. Busy, so will have brief writeups for tonight. I'm kind of streaky, so you may want to cut back on the unit size until I heat up. Just a suggestion. Here is what I have thus far for tonight....
Charlotte Bobcats +5.5 2 Units
Have spoken over and over about how the Mavs time has come and gone. They are no longer an elite team, may not even be a playoff team. They have very little depth. They are 3-7 on the season, however could be/should be 2-8 if the Knicks did not blow it last game. Do not think they should be this big of a road favorite. I'll take the home dog.
Toronto/Orlando Over 192.5 2 Units
These two teams played high scoring games all last season, including the playoffs. In each of the past 9 meetings, the winner has reached 100 points with the loser not too far behind. See no reason why it will change tonight. The Magic have been scoring the ball well lately, averaging 103 ppg in their past 8 games. Hoping Calderon is back for Toronto tonight. The Raps should be able to score in the 90's. Hoping for a repeat performance from these two from last year's playoffs, which games averaged 203 combined points.
New Jersey Nets +5.5 2 Units
Nets have been playing much better than most people suggested. Looked great both games since Devin Harris has been back. They have been getting great outside shooting all year long. I feel Harris will be able to penetrate on Mo Williams tonight and find some open guys. If the shooting is there again, I feel the Nets can take this down to the wire. May even pull the upset.
Like I suggested earlier for those who are following, you may want to cut back units until I start to click. Just a thought.
Best of luck guys!
