YTD 63-54, +5.65 Units
Coming off of back to back sweeps. 5-0 in the last two nights. Full schedule tonight, full card for me.
Indiana Pacers ML -1.85 1 Unit
Indiana Pacers TT Over 28 1Q 1 Unit
As is the case with the Bulls, I have a feeling that this Pacers team is going to be a surprise to some people now that they are getting healthy. Everyone is back for the most part now that Dunleavy has returned. Daniels is still a question mark, but I have never been a big fan of him anyways. Tonight they play against a Toronto team that is just simply not that good. They get O'Neal back, but Calderon is still out injured. He is much more important than a banged up O'Neal off the bench. Pacers just with too much firepower in my opinion and I don't think the Raps will be able to keep up. Instead of playing to win 2 Units, I will keep the risk about the same and play the moneyline to win 1 Unit.
I have noticed that the Pacers keep coming out on fire in the first quarter of games recently. They have scored 30+ in the 1Q, in 5 of their past 7 games. The other two games they scored 28 1Q points. Going to ride the streak for a unit here hoping that the Pacers continue their hot starts.
San Antonio/Philadelphia Under 194 2 Units
Total much higher than normal here due to the fact that the Sixers have been scoring well lately, plus these two combined for 214 points earlier this month. I simply think it is too high. Both teams have top 10 scoring defenses. Neither team has a dynamic offense, as both average in the 90's. Spurs tend to dictate the pace of the game on the road, as they play a slower, halfcourt game. Each of their past 6 road games have gone under the total, averaging just 175 points in those games. None of their past 6 road games have been played into the 190's. Most played in the 170's, with a few in the mid 180's. Even one in the 160's. With or without Brand, I think this one stays under. I see the winner in the mid 90's, with the loser not too far behind.
Be back in a little over an hour with the rest of the games. The rest of my plays involve games that start at 9:00 ET or later.
Be back shortly...
