YTD 63-54, +5.65 Units

Coming off of back to back sweeps. 5-0 in the last two nights. Full schedule tonight, full card for me.

Indiana Pacers ML -1.85 1 Unit
Indiana Pacers TT Over 28 1Q 1 Unit

As is the case with the Bulls, I have a feeling that this Pacers team is going to be a surprise to some people now that they are getting healthy. Everyone is back for the most part now that Dunleavy has returned. Daniels is still a question mark, but I have never been a big fan of him anyways. Tonight they play against a Toronto team that is just simply not that good. They get O'Neal back, but Calderon is still out injured. He is much more important than a banged up O'Neal off the bench. Pacers just with too much firepower in my opinion and I don't think the Raps will be able to keep up. Instead of playing to win 2 Units, I will keep the risk about the same and play the moneyline to win 1 Unit.

I have noticed that the Pacers keep coming out on fire in the first quarter of games recently. They have scored 30+ in the 1Q, in 5 of their past 7 games. The other two games they scored 28 1Q points. Going to ride the streak for a unit here hoping that the Pacers continue their hot starts.

San Antonio/Philadelphia Under 194 2 Units

Total much higher than normal here due to the fact that the Sixers have been scoring well lately, plus these two combined for 214 points earlier this month. I simply think it is too high. Both teams have top 10 scoring defenses. Neither team has a dynamic offense, as both average in the 90's. Spurs tend to dictate the pace of the game on the road, as they play a slower, halfcourt game. Each of their past 6 road games have gone under the total, averaging just 175 points in those games. None of their past 6 road games have been played into the 190's. Most played in the 170's, with a few in the mid 180's. Even one in the 160's. With or without Brand, I think this one stays under. I see the winner in the mid 90's, with the loser not too far behind.

Be back in a little over an hour with the rest of the games. The rest of my plays involve games that start at 9:00 ET or later.

Be back shortly...

like 'em...only worry about the Raptors ruining your 1st quarter bet. they're also one of the better 1st quarter teams.

what does the raptors being a first qtr team have to do with the pacers going over 28 total pts?

Simply that they're a strong team in the 1st quarter. You wouldn't deny that the Pacers scoring 28 would look even better with a team that would likely be blown out in the first twelve. I'm just lookin' the other way.

In no way am I saying don't play it or even that it isn't a good play. I am only stating my reservation.

No I just thought you read the play wrong and thought he was taking Indy for the first qtr..This could very well be 33-30 end of the first

DAMN they went 3 point crazy at the end of 1st half. Philly hits an over half courter at the buzzer. Should have no way been this high of first half.

Adding:

Phoenix Suns -7.5 1 Unit

Suns playing much better since J Rich came over from Charlotte. Wolves had a nice little run, however they are still a very bad team. Minnesota bad defensively, giving up around 47% from the field. Not good when you are going against the top shooting team in the NBA. Suns have dominated this series in Phoenix, winning each of the past 5 meetings by more than this current spread. In fact, their margin of victory at home has been around 21 over the past 5 meetings. Shaq is back for this one. Suns by double digits.

At least one more play coming....

I'm not sure how you came up with your Indiana plays. First Quarter is just so iffy at 28 and 29 to win but thanks I took the whole gm ml in a parlay with Sixers ml and straight spread play for the game out of your post and my own thoughts. Keep growing and winning.

Adding:

Atlanta/Golden State Over 216.5 2 Units

Pace should be there for this one, as it always is when the Warriors play a home game. Like the fact that Golden State is getting healthier now and have more guys back playing. Jackson should be able to go for this one. Hawks have the athletes to run with the Warriors and should have no problem doing so. These two usually play high scoring games when they meet, as the winner has reached at least 113 in 6 of the past 7 meetings. Hoping for more of the same tonight.
