I am happy to report that I have today received the 6K that I was owed By SIA. I am disappointed however that it took 4 weeks for the first withdrawal of 3K & 3.5 weeks for the second withdrawal of 3K. I would like to offer this report on SIA for fellow RX members. To their Defence they did start a new E-check system for withdrawals & it seemed that hick-ups with this system caused the delays. Where they failed however was from a customer service standpoint. i simply had to wait for the system to start working & was never provided with other options.
Customer Service is lacking over there...no customers are allowed to talk to accounting & Customer service cannot answer any difficult questions...always brushing off.

REPORT:

To be fair I have used SIA for about 2 or 3 years & have in the past collected probably 15-20 withdrawals. This was the FIRST time I was delayed (But it was also my biggest withdrawal). It scared the heck out of me & made me realize how easily one can be swindled playing online.

In the past I used to get a check by mail the very same week...when they stopped mailing checks is when the delays started (Ie new E check system).

Some of us cannot resist SIA due to their juicy dog lines. Let me offer the following advice if using them.

They obviously know they are dealing these lines & are afraid of the sharp's (hence their low betting limits...if you insist on playing there I reccomend following rules bellow.

1) Only Use Netteller...(Those using Netteller have not reported delays & no excuses for SIA)
2) Don't let account balance go over 1500$ (If 1500$ is a heck of alot to you do not play there at all).
3) Read their rules & follow them all, including betting limits etc etc.
4) Dont let any of your friends with SIA accounts play through your IP address (dont give them reasons to suspect You).
5) Try & stay off the radar. Dont withdraw everything at once... withdraw in Chunks.
6) Throw them some 'square action' or 'fun action' from time to time.

Yesterday nite I had only received 3K but could not resist sending them 200$ for the juicy +6.5 -105 on the BROWNS...& it paid off...Some will say i am sick for doing that but since I had received my first 3K I had some faith. The second 3K hit my bank account this morning. From now on I will only use Netteller to deposit over there & will monitor my balance there very carefully.

hope this report helps...& keep in mind...in 2.5 years this was my first Slow Pay.

SIA...you really need to improve Cx Care & focus on your rules etc....Hope you are listening...

I, too, have never been slow payed until my first withdrawral using the e check system. I put in for the withdrawral last Monday, and it was processed yesterday, which took a week. I am now waiting for the money to hit my bank account, which should be by the end of the week. I do believe they had some technical problems with this new system. I will continue to wager with SIA.

On principal alone you should not send SIA your hard earned dollars. These people are crooks. They have refused to pay future bets that win, saying it was a "bad line". After they get blasted in the forums SIA will then offer to settle with you. Usaully offering a 1/3 of what they owe you. STAY CLEAR OF SIA!

They just cancelled a bet I placed on the Lakers for tonight...they had the line at -270, and it's at -1200 now

Money is getting withdrawn as soon as my bets for tonight clear.

Sport Savant - Can you buy points with SIA? I have never seen the option on their interface and they didn't respond to my email about it(big surprise there).

Bryan305 - I wouldn't hold the voided bet against them, that was definitely the wrong line - no doubt about it.

Update on my withdrawral......I noticed this morning that the funds I requested were in my bank account. I received an email from SIA Monday evening telling me that my withdrawral was processed. It took two business days for the funds to show up in my bank account. I have always been payed by SIA and will continue to play there.

Thanks Sportsavant....SIA was down for a little while, but they are up now. Please understand that I have been wagering with SIA for a number of years, and have never had any kind of a problem. I am not a big time player, but it seems the ones who have problems there are doing things against their rules. Best of luck with whatever you wager on....

I just got my "pink slip" from SIA. I had problems getting my first withdrawal but after that things went smoothly. It looks like they want to make sure you are not one of their blacklisted sharps using a new name and once they are sure of that, they will pay properly.

The boot was polite and swift and they paid every penny owed. I have only minor bad things to say about them relating to customer service, but I would not question their overall integrity.

They run their shop in an unusual way -- catering to squares and booting anyone who wins fairly consistently -- but this practice cannot be called unethical IMO.

I would not consider SIA as good as the major books like Pinnacle, Canbet, WSEX, WWTS, etc. but I would not worry about getting paid.

I tried to make a bet and I got an error message saying there was not enough money in my account. Then I checked my account statement and I noticed there were withdrawals made equal to my entire balance. Then I checked my email and I got this message from Owen, the boss:

"I regret to inform you that it has been decided by the management to close out your account. I am sure you realise that it is not profitable for us to maintain accounts that are winning large amounts consistently. Obviously your account falls into this category. We will of course be honouring your current bets and we will be returning your balance to you shortly.
Once again I am sorry for the inconvenience this causes you and I wish you all the best in your betting elsewhere.

Regards,
Owen
SIA "

I figured this was polite enough so I sent a polite reply and that was that. The money was on my Neteller account the next day (today).

wow, at least they were brutally honest about the entire thing...cudos for them in that regards...I don't think however, when they are investigating people that they are honest in terms of the delays...

Anyway congrats on winning alot with them....Hopefully profits...
