Your starting balance will be $100 times the number of days left in the meet at the time you enter.
On opening day (7/29), the starting bankroll will be $3600 and will be reduced by $100 each day thereafter.
The Saratoga meet consists of 36 racing days, running from July 29 thru Sept 7, dark on Tuesdays.
Run up your bankroll as much as possible. If you bust, you're done. The contestant with the most money at the end of the meet wins.
You are allowed a maximum 3 bets per day. All 3 can be on one race or spread out over 3 races.
Wagers will only be accepted on WIN, PLACE, EXACTAS and TRIFECTAS as long as they are offered on track.
A wager on a 2-horse exacta box constitutes 2 bets, not 1, leaving you with 1 additional play.
A wager on a horse to Win & Place is 2 bets.
Only straight trifectas are allowed. No boxing horses in trifectas.
Only ONE POST per day and it must be made 5 minutes prior to the 1st race post time (most days that will be 12:55 ET). Any additional posts will be no action. All wagers placed after the deadline will also be no action.
Your post must show the race #, bet amount, type of bet and horse program #:
Example: Race 5 - $100 Win 4.
Grading will be by program #, not name of horse. If you type the horse's name and the program # and they don't match, the program # will take priority when grading.
You must wager at least $100 per day. If your starting balance is less than $100, you must wager the full balance on that day. There is no maximum bet but you must have enough in your account to cover all wagers.
You must make at least one wager per day. If you fail to place a wager, you will be penalized as follows:
Win/Place: A refund will be issued for all parts of your wager involving a scratched horse. Wager will count as a play made.
Exacta/Trifecta: Bets that contain a scratched horse will have the scratched portion refunded. Wager will count as a play made.
Entry Rules:
If you wager on a horse that is coupled with one or more horses, your wager includes all horses under the said number. If one of your entries is scratched but another horse runs, your wager has action. As long as one of the coupled horses runs, all entry wagers have action.
I will start a separate thread for each days wagers.
(Full prizes are reserved for active Sportsinteraction customers. Active is defined as having made at least $300 in real money wagers for the period of July 29th thru August 24th inclusive (1st 4 weeks of contest). Real money refers to deposited money. Sportsinteraction management will be the sole determiner of whether the client’s action derives from “real” money or “contest” money. Inactive accounts are eligible for 50% of prize value. Inactive accounts must also make a $100 deposit in order to "claim" their prize and confirm age verification. Prizes are void if unclaimed after 7 days).
All prizes subject to 8x Rollover.
