I moved about 2 months ago. VERY few people know my new address.

Today, I got junk mail from Heritage. Don't even know how Heritage got my new address. I guess they got it from the Post Office.

Anyway, I've never played with Heritage and I never will. They've sent me lots of junk mail, and I *never* requested any mail/information from them.

These books need to realize that lots of players don't want gambling/casino mail sent to their house! It isn't an issue for me, but I'm sure lots of people don't want their wife/girlfriend to see all the gambling mail.

Have not sign up even once with Heritage. Probally an example of mailing lists being bought, sold, transfer and other things. Had one address to my wife (maybe she is playing, hope she is winning, NOT).I know I would not do anything with her name. Would never hear the end of it.

With the feds shutting down mainstream advertising venues for offshores, we are probably going to see more direct mail than ever this year.

Let's cut some slack for the offshores. Advertising and promotion is a valid function for this very competitive business.

Anyway, direct mail has always bothered me much less than phone calls and spam e-mails.

But in my case, not a single casino/gambling business (or related business) has my new address. So the PO Box wouldn't make a difference, I still got mail from Heritage.

Funk....I don't know that it has anything to do with your situation but I do know that the US post office sells mailing lists....

I've been getting a lot of credit card offers and junk mail.....a lot of them give you those envelopes with the "no postage necessary if mailed in the United States" message in the place where one normally puts a stamp....I've been sealing them and sending them back empty....a friend of mine who works for the p ostal service told me they have some sort of system where the company is billed for the weight and charged.....now I just gotta find a way to stuff a Sears catalog inside those envelopes....
