Hi guys!! First I just want to say that it has been a while since i have posted due to my busy schedule and finishing up college. I am looking forward to getting back on this great board. I am currently trying to find my niche in a career and I find the sportsbook industry very intrigueing. I am just curious what kind of careers are offered in the industry? What the hiring managers look for in a person? How much money you can expect ot make, etc. I havent bee able to find much information on the sportsbook industry. When you look it up all you find is a list of casinos and sportsbooks and no information. None of the sites list jobs or careers either. I was a Finance major in college with much statistical analysis training as well as being part of the CFP (Certified Financial Planning) Program to name a few. Is there a place for a guy like me in the industry? Any info you can give me is much appreciated. I just want to do something new and exciting while I am young and see where it takes me. If you have advice for me or information you can post it here or email me at bombay24@ziplip.com Thanks!!!
