well, heres my story: asked for a withdrawl from sportsbook.com about 3 weeks ago. They say it was sent and to allwo 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Today being the 3rd week i send them an email asking for a tracking number for my check and i get this gem of a response back:
Dear ,

Thank you for contacting us.

Since the UIGEA was passed almost 2 years ago, it has had varied success in clamping down on banking transactions involved with online gaming. Unfortunately, the easiest form of transactions to trace and tackle are paper checks sent out to you, our customer. As a result of this, all of our current check processors have found it increasingly difficult to get your checks to you. This is what has caused the delay with your current withdrawal request.

We faced a similar situation last year, admittedly on a much bigger scale, which we were able to eventually resolve. It took a little time and a lot of effort, but we have never missed a payout and I assure you we never will.

So, where does this leave you and your money? Truthfully, at the moment we don't have a definite timeframe for the situation to be resolved. We promise you that we will keep channels of communication open and we will be proactive with that communication. We promise to email you with a weekly update to let you know we are taking the situation very seriously and we promise to contact you as soon as there is any development.

Our agents will be more than happy to take your chats, e-mails or calls but please be aware that you will be kept up to date and have as much information as they will.

So once again, I would like to apologize for this very unfortunate situation. You can expect an email from us within the week to fully update you regarding the situation.

We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter.

Kind regards,

Charles Abrams

Same thing happened with me for (3) Cashouts from them..... Heres the problem, there processor which was doing cashouts for the american clients went down and stopped doing them.

In result of this the checks for american players where on hold reguarding this situation and the book was being very helpfull in trying to deal with this and being nice to customers.

As of now, the new processor is working for them now and is able to make cashouts, but there is a new policy that requires you to fax/scan them Drivers license and billing address bill (Utility bill, or something of that sort with both your name and address confirming your who you are). From my understanding the payouts are working fine but due to SOOO many american players with checks on backorder, they are trying to contact them but its so hard with supposedly 40+ thousand checks being held up due to this.

Im sure once you email them they will tell you your awaiting ID confirmation in order to cashout due to the new processor.

I hope this helps you, Matt(Big Bet it)

Curious, anyone get paid by sportsbook.com recently?

I received a bank wire from them on Tuesday. I send them all required documentation on Friday, July 25. Took about 10 days to process info and sent withdrawal. I requested another withdrawal over the weekend and it states that the withdrawal has been sent. It should show up next week. They appear to be paying, or paying at least some people...

That is true, Sportsbook.com is paying players every day Monday thru Friday and even some on Saturday depending upon the situation.

I have had several posters contact me for help recently that are now totally paid, one is partially paid and expecting his final payment within the next 5 days. Two others had to send in some paper work and they will be paid quickly afterwards

Remember, if you have difficulty with a withdrawal at Sportsbook.com or any other Rx.com sponsor I am here to help.

Simply email me the information (including account number and name on the account) at wilheim@therx.com and make sure you CC person19481950@yahoo.com to be sure I get the email at one of the two addresses. I will offer help immediately and stay with you until your problem is resolved as fairly and quickly as possible.

Without trying to sound like I am looking for a pat on the back, in the over three years I have been head mod here at The Rx.com I have assisted hundreds of posters with all kinds of different issues. I also guarantee complete discretion to all posters asking for help.

I never accept money or gifts for assistance. I only ask that posters I help remain friends of The Rx and try under no obligation and at their own decision to use our sponsors whenever possible. All assistance rendered by any of the Rx.com mods is completely free.

Thanks, wil.

Wil, did you receive my e-mail? I still haven't heard anything from Sportsbook.com - sent the requested info, waited a little over a week, sent an e-mail inquiring into the status of documentation receive and withdrawal requests from June. Nothing.

Edit: Ugh...I just logged into my sportsbook account, for the first time in forever, and I see I have $2485 in my account, which is the sum of the two withdrawal requests from June (well, it would have been nice to know my account was refunded? WTF).

Well, good luck to us...getting our money (isn't this a bitch?).

Here's part of the LATEST withdrawal receipt via e-mail (yes, I request this total amount in two separate with drawal request back in June).

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cols=1 width=400 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD align=middle>"Your $2,485.00 withdraw request has been submitted.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cols=1 width=400 align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>When withdrawing from your account we may send some funds back to your credit card to the extent that you made recent credit card deposits. The timeframe for you to receive your payouts will vary depending on the method selected and current number of requests. General processing times will be 3-5 weeks if we have all required documents on file. While we will work to have your payments processed as quickly as possible some payments may take longer than specified."

So does this three to five week shit mean I'm going to go thru the same long as wait, same song and dance, as I did 2 f'ing months ago? 2 months! Jesus...

Here's my problem. I've never had a problem with their relatively long payouts in the past - it's play money. My problem is the total lack of communication on the situation on their part. Recently I haven't had any of my e-mail returned. I'm the one that had to find out on this message board that they were now requiring new documentation before I would receive the money that they owe me. During baseball season there were multiple bonus offers that I had to send multiple e-mails before I receive the bonus.

You would think a business having such a big problem on their hands they would be kissing their customer's ass to keep their business. Not even a returned e-mail lately.

Problems with SportsBook.com

I've been using them for about a year. Up until the last 4 months they have been fine (paying out regularly). Now the wait times are really bad. I won't put any more money into this sportsbook.
