They had a large series of bets come from the Michigan area and dropped the odds from 8-1 to 2-1. This was reported on Gambling911. Interesting, it's not a state secret that Harbaugh probably won't be with the 49ers next season. The key is if Harbaugh leaves for a college job the 49ers receive no compensation. If a pro team wants him they will have to fork over draft picks as he is still under contract for another year. I don't know why you would leave the NFL to return to college especially since Harbaugh has been very successful at the pro level.

that is interesting.
Not sure how I feel about Gambling 911 as a source, but the movement on the odds is interesting enough

Harbaugh and the GM hate each other. He may do it just to screw the GM. I could argue that Michigan is a better job the Oakland or NYJ

Coaching college is a way better gig than coaching NFL for the most part.

More job security, easier to build a program, less media scrutiny

agree that College is better gig in general...

Michigan has high expectations with very little local talent... plenty of media scrutiny though..
I think Michigan is a tough job personally..

there is media scrutiny (and there is tons of scrutiny at SEC/big tradition schools from boosters) but by and large it is an easier gig than coaching NFL.

NFL coaches basically don't sleep.
