Bill Dozer's News Wire:
Trivia Asked, Answers Given
Posted: Saturday, November 08, 2003 2:13 PM (PST)

Due to recent reports by customers of being slow-paid and/or receiving lesser amounts than requested I have contacted the owner of Sportsbettingtrivia.com for an explanation.

Barry Clark has been running the operation for about a year and a half. He welcomed the opportunity to clear the air. I asked Barry about these issues, future payment concerns, and the company's financial stability in general.

Mr. Clark was aware of about 8-10 individuals who experienced bumps in their withdrawal. He believes these were isolated incidents though unfortunate not indicative of the companies past or future. As the owner he takes full responsibility for any inconveniences his customers have had to endure. He also takes responsibility for who works for him which is what he said was the source of the problem.

"I was blindsided" he said. "I had a rogue employee which was removed". Barry also said he keeps all customer's funds in reserve so there is no risk to the player.

In addressing the delivery method of payment Clark told me he now alerts all customers that the possibility exists that payment may be made by another method other than Neteller of which they deposited.

He regrets not making that fact known initially citing it as growing pains. It is most important for me to include that Barry states he is no longer delinquent with any clients.

(Bill sorry no Urls in the main forums to your forum Please post your url for your forum in the promo section.

Yes, that is great news, Bill!

I'm still wondering why Mr. Clark, given the opportunity for 2 days to give that kind of reply in topics in which he posted, did not. However, it don't matter a damn as long as the problems have gotten addressed. I'm also assuming one of the 2 dismissed employees was the 'rogue' - interesting.

Again, good news - I'm sure those who have posted about current problems will check in here once they've been paid or can confirm they HAVE been paid. I'm wondering about that guy clevfan said was owed 30K - I'll check on that.

I don't know about that post/poster. I did read she said Bodog and GA was connected based on a similar AIM handle. Maybe she assumed what she posted by our thread started hours before. MAybe someone here is owed but doesnt wanna say. Until anyone contradicts what BArry said people can consider them not delinquent I guess.
I'm not sticking up for them (although Barry seems like a good guy to work with). MY experience so far and opinion on saftey has not changed. That is seperate from weather or not SBT owes money. If they actually owe someone 30k that would be a mild oversight on his part.

Jazz, I sent you a PM over at MW.

Nothing earth shattering - just a couple of links on Hedgesyn from a forum you might be interested in having a look at.
