ok so the racetracks are scared, make that terrified, they may actually lose money.

in the interest of gambling goodwill everywhere, i'm here to help them out, free of charge.

the line is team a is favored by 7 over team b, start off both sides -110.

take all the action you get, move the money line based on parimutual wagering on both sides. true you'll never know how much you'll get back until the game is over and the money balanced, but at least the racetrack will not lose money.

sure this isn't sports gambling as we know it but at least it will get the ball rolling before any injunctions get filed, and could suffice until somebody with bookmaking acumen steps up to the plate and isn't afraid to take a risk.

to make things simple, single game wagering only, screw teasers, parlays, futures etc.

It will happen eventually (Betallsports will be the first in line to make a bet)....but it will not happen this season.....

Besides, why would you lay -115 or -120 when you can get -105 or -110 other places.....

And Christie already Vetoed the sports bill for gambling....

I can't wait for it to happen, but it will not happen this weekend.....

Been saying this since 2005 with a sidebar always hoping that I am wrong.....

V Dino .. 2 things are different this time , to give us some hope.

1. N.J. budget shortfall was $275 million worse than Christie thought.
(either he comes-up with fast cash or, he has to raise taxes on his Rep. brotherhood)

2. allowing 1 day high-stakes fantasy sports leagues to run legally.

I think , we may see light at the end of this tunnel ,, and maybe this time it's the sunshine not a train.

State lawmakers passed legislation Thursday that could allow legal sports betting in New Jersey to move forward. The Assembly passed a measure that was overwhelmingly approved earlier this week in the state Senate. It's aimed at helping the state's foundering casino and racetrack industries, and would partially repeal prohibitions against sports wagering in the state. A spokesman for Gov. Chris Christie declined to take a position on the bill and said the governor will review the measure before acting.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -Another Atlantic City casino is joining in on the sports betting competition in New Jersey.
DraftKings and Resorts Casino are firing the latest shot in New Jersey's sports book arms race, with a full-fledged sports betting facility due to open on Tuesday, November 20th, near where patrons walk into the property off the Boardwalk.
It is the latest move in a scramble by New Jersey casinos, racetracks and bookmakers to not only have an online operation, but also a game-day physical facility to attract and hold fans as they bet, eat, and drink.
Six of Atlantic City's seven casinos that offer sports betting are operating in smaller temporary quarters with plans to expand their sports books in the coming months.
Ocean Resort Casino opened with a full sports book back in June.
