YTD:
1% = 50-47-5 (+4.97 units)
3% = 0-2 (-6.45 units)
5% = 0-0 (1 play pending Senator Points for March)
(Began Posting/Tracking NHL plays at RX just before the ALLSTAR break).

As I look at the record above...aswell as examine the fact that I am 0-2 in the NBA forum in terms of 2% plays, I realize that I need to ammend the system of 1-5% plays...just a few higher percentages can kill your profit.

Going forward I will only post 1% & 1.5% plays...(thanks for the heads lead vic...)

I will however not become a ghost like many would after a losing streak & will continue to post selections...

I know B&G, I started a thread about that last night...I am gonna be very selective going forward as would love to be above water on my posted plays here by the end of the season, Even if I did have a few slip ups in terms of control....

I just checked out your website and I must say it is excellent! I learned alot!
I was looking the intertops website and noticed that almost all of their odds are better than SIA. Do you still bet on this site alot and is it worth switching over?

Go Flames, as you may have read the past few days it is a very difficult business to win at this business/hobby...the toughest part is Money Management & DIscipline....That being said....I certainly encourage you to Open up an account at Intertops...They have a 20% Bonus coming up so make sure you take advantage of that....But make sure you read the article on my website about shopping the best available line...Especially in NBA, NCAAB & NFL where there is primarly a pointspread rather than a Money Line like in NHL & MLB...But even in NHL & MLB it is important...

Anyway all this rambling simply to say that you should have at least 3 Places to play so that you can make sure that you get a good Price...&
7 times out of 10 www.pinnaclesports.com will have the best price available...they are also very well respected with little chance of anything going on to your bankroll...

If you are just getting in the business you are lucky that you have a place like the RX to learn & read as it is really tough to grind out a profit...

I hope you read about my weaknesses lately & remember my post's if you ever think of Chasing after a bad day....

I've just started really getting into this and I dont' really have a ton of money to have 3 different account so I'm looking for the best site in general...and it seems you have said pinnacle so maybe I'll check it out. It seems really complicated though to pay with your credit card etc

Actually it is pretty smooth for Credit Card deposits...

The only thing is that it is USA dollars, but No Big Deal...just do the math 1$ US = 1.30$ Canadian.

It simply appears on your credit card in USA dollars & then is converted by your credit card Company into Canadian Dollars.

FWIW, even if you only have 2 outs Pinnacle/SIA are a good two to have, you will often find the best value on the dogs at SIA & the best value on the Fav's at Pinny....

I hear what you are saying about not having alot of $$$$....But even if you have only 300$ or 400$ on each & are playing 25$ to 50$ a game then I do highly suggest having at least two...especially for NBA, NFL & NCAAB & NCAAF...for MLB you would probably be OK with only Pinnacle....

Stay away from Parlays or teasers & look to make a little money every day as opposed to alot & try to grind it out over time...

One thing...even if you only have one account....double check the line you are getting with a bunch of other books...If your shop doesnt have the best #...well walk away...there will always be more games...

Thanks for your thoughts. They are much appreciated. I only bet on NHL and NFL because that's all that I follow closely.

So you wouldn't recommend Intertops then hey?

For NHL DEFINATELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT, PINNACLE...Especially id you have a tendency to like favorites (Most newbies usually do)...

Pinny & Intertops are Solid...SIA is a little SCUMMY...

This quote doesnt really make much sense though becauz it really depends what line you like or wether you like the favorite or Dog...But notice Pinnale has much less of a spread between the lines...they call it a 10 cent or a dime line...Intertops & SIA have a 20 cent spread between the dog & favorite.

By the way if yo Like TRUE CANADIAN PROCESSING go to my site & check out B365...Britsh, very professional & when you deposit in Canadian everything is in Canadian Dollars...BUT THEY JUICE THE FAV's a BIT so be careful...Understand that although your gut may often cauz you to look at Fav's often better Value is in the DOGS...Especially in the NBA

Simply a form you have to FILL OUT & fax back to them once you have opened the account...with a photocopy of your credit card...they will email it to you or I beleive you can Print it from their Site....
