This is more than a system am gonna try tonite rather than pure hardcore capping, however in every game I feel their are intangibles & that the teams selected could win their respectives games outright...There is less than 50% chance that any of these bets will win, but I do not beleive that there is less than 50% chance that many of these teams may tie....anyway, enough ranting...not even sure if that makes sense....IF you are gonna play any of these games, you should play all of them.

need 2 of 5 for roughly break even nite or 3 of 5 for strongly profitable nite.

NYR + X +128 WIN
(Nj lost last night & could be due for a slump...NYR come into this game rested...Nj having played last nite, no Scott Stevens...J Jagr in the lineup for NYR...concede NO Lindros)
SJ + X +146 Loss
(SJ always plays detroit tough...possible looking ahead in their loss to buffalo)
NYI + X +153 Win
(hopeing for another tie...NYI managed a tie with Colorado last night...not to worried about back to back as coming off all star game)
ATL + X +145 Loss
(Unlikely win but you never know)
CAL + x +148 Win
(Rivalry game...always entertaining, usually close)

I agree on San Jose and I’m looking at them closely also but that last game Detroit played at Colorado scares me. The Wings looked very motivated and like the team we all thought they should be this year. If they come into this game as fired up they will be one tough team to beat at home.

The Islanders played a tough game last night and have a late night flight to Dallas to meet a team that’s beginning to click on all cylinders. DiPietro absolutely stood on his head last night and gave his team a point. Will he start tonight and if he does how much does he have left in the tank?

I hear you vegas vig, beleive me when I say these are not my strongest leans in terms of opinuions...simply an 'angle' let us say. 3 of 5 would be a fantastic nite...also got down on the over 5 in chicago as you suggested....will be back to add it as a play later

From NHL web site...1/15/04

Still can't beat 'em - Brodeur is the reason that no team has ever dominated the New York Rangers, especially at Madison Square Garden, the way the Devils have over the past six-plus seasons. Thursday night's 3-3 tie left the Rangers 2-21-13-0 against their suburban rivals in their last 36 meetings -- with Brodeur in net for all of those games; in fact, he's started for New Jersey in the last 62 meetings with the Rangers. The Devils are 6-0-10-1 at the Garden since their last regulation loss, a 3-0 defeat on Jan. 12, 1997. No other visiting team has ever gotten a point in 17 consecutive games at the Garden.

Savant - Good luck. No NHL for me tonight. I like money and I've been throwing it at the books lately.

VV,
The Rangers - Devils game tonight is in New Jersey, not NYC ...

Best wishes,

Yeah ThreeUnits I know but in the last four years plus so far this year the Devils are 10-2-10 all time vs. the Rangers no matter where they play. I think the play, (if any), is on the Devils money line.
