YTD:
1% = 35-30-3 (+4.97 units)
3% = 0-1 (-3.45 units)

5% play future play:

The bet is at OLYMPIC (I know many RX'ers have an account there). feel that this play warrants 5% of bankroll. Their is a max of 575$ at Olympic but that is fine for me as it is roughly 5% of bankroll.

it is a Future on Ottawa Senator Points for the Month of March..(They play their first game on Wednesday)

Ottawa Senators monthly season points
513 Over 16½ points -115

Just a couple of comments as I think out loud and do some research….

Since 12/18 Ottawa has gone 22-8-6.…7-6-3 on the road.
They beat Boston, Toronto, New Jersey, Carolina, Phoenix, Rangers, Pittsburgh during that stretch on the road lost to Buffalo, Islanders, Dallas, Toronto, Jersey, Montreal.

They have proven to be, if nothing else, a break even team on the road.

So let’s say they win the easy games…Nashville, (terrible road team), at Washington and home vs. Carolina. Giving them those six points we now need 11 points from the rest.

11 games remain on the road against all formidable opponents (except possibly for the Wild and Panthers but still no slouches) Only one game remains at home against Colorado. They have a tough western swing at Calgary. Vancouver, Edmonton, and Minnesota. Edmonton and Minnesota will be all but mathematically eliminated by the time they get to those cities so you have to believe they will be a easier obstacle. All those rinks have fast ice that should be to the Senators liking and you have that added intangible of Ottawa players playing back home in Alberta and in front of friends and family. (I believe there are a few…true?)
Let’s say they win those two games.

The question is can they get 7 points from those remaining ten games? I don’t know how but if the Ottawa Senators have any shot of winning anything this year you have to believe the answer would be yes. I think the biggest deciding factor for me is all those western conference games where they will go all out in O.T. to get the extra point and not care if they give one up.

I’m with you Savant…thanks for the lead!

exactly, it is my beleif that the OLMPIC linesmaker is simply looking at the past to create this line. other factors must be considered...Ottawa went through some bad slumps but I do beleive they will get it together for this final stretch run, Sens have failed to get points in only 1 of their last 10 games....

Adding:

1%: Panthers of Florida over the Capitals of Wahington on the Money Line. Am hoping that revenge & the fact that the Panther's need this game will be motivation enough for a victory in this matchup tonite...Florida suffered an embarassing 4-1 loss at the hands of the capitals just a few days back.

1.15/1.00 winner
