I read a complaint over at Sportsbook Review
over a disputed wager on General Clark to win
the democratic nomination for President. Apparently SI voided the bet because it exceeded the limit. The guy bet $600-700 Canadian between his brother, his mother and himself. The limit was $350-400 per account.
SI was right to void this bet. He tried to exceed the limit by using family members opening up different accounts. The bettor is
saying if Clark didn't get in the race SI wouldn't have refunded his money.
I'm not shilling for SI. I have an account there and as long as I get paid on my sports
wagers I'm happy. If I win too much and they
ask me to leave so be it. I also happen to know
people who have multiple accounts there to exceed their football wagering limit. SI is well within their rights to protect themselves
when this occurs even if it involves political
wagers
