3-3 losing .31 Units last night.

White Sox -105
Must win game for the White Sox tonight if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Twins play their remaining 9 games after this series against Detroit and Cleveland with 7 of those games coming against Detroit. If the White Sox lose this one, they can pack it in for the season cuz there is no way they catch the Twins when they play Kansas and the Yanks the rest of the way. Garland and Rogers have both sucked it up against the opposing teams for tonight but the way Garland has pitched lately is much better then Rogers and both of them have done decent when pitching at night. Main reason i'm playing this tho is the reason that the White Sox must win and let's hope that offense comes alive tonight and scores some runs.

Braves -136
Hampton has done pretty well against the Expos in his career posting a 7-2 record with a 3.43 ERA in seven career starts and is dominating during the day with an 8-1 record with the ERA around 3. Like i said Monday night, the Expos are having trouble lately hitting lefties and I don't think that Tucker will be able to hold the Braves offense in check, I hope the pen doesn't blow it for us tonight again. I am looking for 7+ strong innings by Hampton and 4 runs from the braves should be enough to win this one.

Florida +136
Redman has done well against the Phillies this year going about 8 innings and giving up an average of 2 runs in 2 starts. Teams who score many runs the day before usually get 2-3 runs if any the next night. Florida got embarassed last night and when i saw the final score i was like wtf happened? Losing 14-0 against ur actual contender has got to hurt somehow but i feel confident that they will bounce back tonight. They both play the same teams down the stretch with the phillies playing against Cincy and the fish against the Mets, both gotta play each other and the braves in 2 more series. With Willis going tomorrow and the way Millwood struggles against the Marlins this could be the way to a 2 and a half game lead in the WC.

Brewers/Cardinals Over 9

if you need to contact me e-mail is posted in the promo forum. I don't do writeups on totals because they are more of a system play.

OK Mr TOUT:

Regarding the Florida pick, after the first sentence, everything else you write is USELESS as far as capping is concerned.

Teams who score many runs the day before usually get 2-3 runs if any the next night.

Anything to back that up?

They both play the same teams down the stretch with the phillies playing against Cincy and the fish against the Mets, both gotta play each other and the braves in 2 more series. With Willis going tomorrow and the way Millwood struggles against the Marlins this could be the way to a 2 and a half game lead in the WC.

Now how does THAT help me figure out who is going to win?

How about a little help for you? The 6 previous times that the Marlins have given up 11+ runs, they have gone 5-1 the next game.

More help? The Phillies are 12-14 against LHS

You're not a tout yet, but with a little more effort, you might be able to have SOMEONE buy your picks - you just have to have a little more information on your writeups, sweetie

aight raiders, oops i mean cincy

I don't put too much value in trends as for any 5-1 trend like you have listed an other one can be found that is 1-5. If you think that I am just getting these picks of of a coin toss then i dare you to fade them and we shall see where you will end up. Good thing you are actually reading them

. All i am saying with that game is that if the Marlins win today they got a great chance tomorrow with Willis to take a 2 1/2 game lead in the WC.

I have my own picks - don't need to fade.

The bottom line is: Your picks won't sell here.

So give up, already.

well if you are so sure they won't sell and that i will suck it up wouldn't you make some extra money then by fading me. If you have your own picks, please post them so we can see how "good" you really are.

By the way, don't ask for my plays again - I don't need to post them and it really doesn't matter what YOU think of my plays.

Ok, here is what really happened with my Cubs play:

Cubs Over -2120.00
Cubs Under 2000.00
Cubs Under 1000.00

Net: 880.00

How the hell could this happen, you ask.

In the morning, I get a report that the wind will be blowing OUT TO LEFT. I figure 9 is too low, so I think I will play it over as soon as it comes out, let it climb to 9.5 or 9 Over 145
after the public gets the weather/wind report and then side it with the under.

When I saw that Hollywood had the total at 8.5, I knew there would be no middle.

When I finally found out that the wind was no blowing OUT to left, but from RIGHT TO LEFT, I knew it was time to get rid of the over play and forget about siding the play - and hence I went with my regular play of Cubs under and lost $120 bucks in the process.

So SA, the moral of the story is that I lost $120 because I couldn't find out which way the wind was blowing. Now, would I pay someone, say $400, to tell me the wind direction at Wrigley for every every Cubs home game? That would be $10 per game, so maybe I would, but I sure would pay $100 for it.

People will pay for INFORMATION - not picks. Even a blind squirrel can make picks. I want someone to tell me something I don't know - and if they do, I will pay for it. If not, it is useless.

In years past, with no internet, information was at a premium and it was info and databases that separated the men from the boys - nowadays, we all have our databases and spreadsheets and we can all find the trends or figure out systems - but we still can't get someone to accurately tell me which way the damn wind is blowing.

PS: I know you can get weather reports at weather.com or weather.yahoo.com, but those sites are late and everybody uses them - the only way I could get an edge over the public would be to have someone THERE. That would give me dependable information and it wouldn't be 2 hours late.
