Chad, seems that SB was doing there backend CC processing and stiffed them for mucho dinero. I mean Mucho. Also seems now that they are working together to get another processing system going. unfortunatley SBUSA has little choice in the matter

Are you saying that SBUSA's players' post up $ is in trouble, due to SBux ripping them?

I spoke to the major earlier and got the scoop.

With the volume that these guys bring to the table it wasn't the first time nor will it be the last time that they have gotten taken for some change.

Should players worry about getting paid? ABSOLUTELY NOT! There is plenty of money.

Sportingbet? Agree with Mr Leno, I find it hard to believe there was enough money involved to put them in danger of stiffing anyone. VERY hard to believe. Instead of premium gas they'll just put regular unleaded in the choppers this month to make up the difference.

Thanks for the updates just the same Russ.

Good to hear this..

It would be tragic to see a good store get into financial hot water because of this SBux shit.

FTR, was not implying in any way that this is anything more than a drop in the bucket for sbusa. Just seems they are between a rock and a hard place to try and get their money back. I should have been more clear Joey. Hope this helps.

I was just fully trying to comprehend the issue, not start any crap.

SBUSA is a good group, and Patrick has worked diligently for many years to build his business, something I respect alot.

It's a pleasure to discuss things this way Russ - in a lucid and polite manner.

Thanks for adding clarity to the issue.

Why did he recently dump a huge portion of his stock?

I dunno how you can respect someone that has returned nada other than debt to shareholders.

I understood it was Mark Blanford, not Patrick, that sold stock.

Sodium,

I am not a rocket scientist but quite often, when individuals sell a lot of stock, it is because they need the money...

I am not saying this is the case here, but I cannot think of a positive reason to be unloading that many shares....

Perhaps someone else may know the reason and enlighten us?
