If you sent this email to a client wanting HIS money..you guy's are a joke..pay the man without hassles..Pinnacle pays no questons ask..why would anyone deal with such nonsense?

Sportbet (SBR rating C-) player requests payout but instead receives the following:
"Upon looking into your situation I see that you will be requesting the full amount of winnings in your account. I also see that you have in fact meet all rollover requirements that we ask for when playing with our bonus. Yet what I have also noted is that your request will be leaving the bare minimum balance that you can in your account to meet the policies that we have put down."

Players should not have to beg or endure a question and answer session when they request their money. Players should stay with top rated sportsbooks.

Jake gives big bonuses... but he asks in good faith that players remain somewhat active... not do the bair minimum then bail....

im sure they pay no problem just letting you know that this is the type of shop they are... big bonuses for those who stick around & stay loyal... dont think he is looking for players to simply roll over the minumum & then fully cash out till the next bonus is offered....

I happen to agree with Huggybear here if this is indeed what happened...

SPORTBET appears to be in the wrong...

If a player meets the minimum requirement for a bonus the sports book should HONOR its own rules!!!

I will call up their main guy to hear their side of the story tomorrow...

Remember, there are two sides to every story and then there's the truth...

Sportbet is just reminding the player that their account is really low and that by requesting such a payout they may have to re up soon. i think this is a nice gesture because the player might not realize this...

Pure horseshit! If the chumps don't like dealing with bonus whores (read: smart consumers) then there's an easy solution. Don't offer bonuses; otherwise pay up and do so promptly.

Wow, really have to question the wisdom of a book when they send out such a letter. In this case, the bettor has apparently fully complied with the bonus requirements, yet the book still feels the need to react in a "we know what you're up to and we don't like it..." manner. Well, duh...bonus whores exist. As long as the player follows the rules, there's no excuse for responding to a withdrawal request with a "we expected more out of you..." message. Really shortsighted as, inevitably, the message makes its way into the watchdog forums, resulting in negative publicity.

They have a 30 day hold on withdrawing the deposit and bonus, but players are allowed to withdraw winnings before the 30 days comes due.

It sounds like the player just wants to withdraw some of his winnings. I don't see the problem with that...maybe their Neteller is dry.

It also says in their terms that a player will never get another bonus if the player makes a withdrawal. So I don't think the "loyalty" explaination flies here. I suppose Sportbet rewards their loyal losers with big bonuses.

I've talked to Jake yesterday about this issue. According to him the player hadn't met all requirements and would have lost $ 250 in bonuses should he have withdrawn his original request. The player has reportedly been paid a few hours after his request. $ 100.00 difference would have made him lose the bonus worth 250.00, so Jake told him and the player has agreed to take 1,300.00 instead of 1,400.00 .

Can we call this a storm in a glass of water ?

I think this is one of those cases where "bad" publicity is still good publicity. SPotbet like to be able to give generous bonuses. But as a result, Jake is in a constant battle to keep the whores at bay. So reports like these tend to dissade whores from going to sportbet, because they realize they are taking a big risk by going there. The true square player that sportbet is trying to attract, wouldn't have to worry about these issues.

Jake makes lots of rules, but he plays fair as long as you are fair with him. Never had a problem worth speaking of.

Gents,

Roberto is on the money. The client could take up to $1400 out of his account...he requested a WU for $1,400. The fees are $75, thus he would have been penalized $250. I talked to the client, and informed him of the situation. He thanked me, and took out $1300 + $75 in fees. The confirmation # was in his account a few hours later. I SAVED THE CLIENT $250 AND I AM GETTING BASHED. HAD I PENALIZED HIM, AND NOT INFORMED HIM...I WOULD BE GETTING BASHED!!! DO YOU NOT ALL SEE THIS??????

Last night, when SBR posted this, I called the client. HE WAS PISSED! He said SBR misrepresented him. He said it was not fair and that he would have this cleared up shortly. Granted, it was later in the evening and SBR probably was not available at the time.

SBR NEVER asked our side of this story, or they would have found out the truth, and saved themselves from looking stupid. THE CLIENT CARBON COPIED SBR ON HIS EMAIL, SO I KNEW THEY WOULD KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON.

I would take this opportunity to attack SBR, but I am tired of their BS. That is the truth. I thought that when somebody I knew got in their office, some things would change....maybe they will but I guess it takes time. I do not know if I pissed John off in another life, or what...but his site loves to blast us...almost 100% of the time without proof, facts, or the truth. Oh well...so it goes.

SBR, I believe you owe us an apology, but I will not hold my breath.

I apologize to the posters if I come off like an prick right now...it is early, it is Friday, and this is the first thing I saw this morning....I hope you all understand. Please contact me if you have any questions in regards to this incident, or any other facets of my companies. My number is 800-214-9666 and I should be here until about 7-8pm EST.

I don't know Jake too well, so can not judge him. But one thing I can say is that he is fair. We had a "misscouminication" when I opened my account and he went out of his way to clear it up and explain things clearly to me. This left a good first impression on me. And, as we all know, customer service is very importance in this business. He went out of his way and it did not go unoticed.

Jake has always been straight up with me. Maybe because I am not a bonus whore. But he paid me week after week after week. Always a pleasure to talk to, straight up and honest. They dropped my internet limits to $250, but I would have also. I just call in and get a dime or whatever they will take. Places like his are sitting ducks for bonus whores, I guess many are comfortable doing this. Sounds like he tried to help the guy out and still got trashed. Someday I will let him trash me on the golf course. I hope he has mercy on me. Best Wishes...OF

someone should create a new forum room right next to the rubber room and call it:

"The Brothel" "a place where bonus whores can discuss issues important to the bonus whore industry"

then move this thread there

Huggybear,

I should have answered your question...NO, it is not true. We paid the man as soon as we made sure he would not be penalized.

RDC,

Not sure who you are, but if you have a problem with my book, please let me know. Have you had an account with us?

TK and OF,

Thanks, gentlemen. You are both class acts, yourselves. A pleasure doing business with the both of you. OF...If you play golf the way you wager...I want 1 stroke per hole!!!! LOL

Have a good one, gentlemen. Let me know if you need any questions answered.

I just opened up an account with sportbet, and Jake was nice enough to extend me a 50% bonus on my first deposit, even though the special had expired. I have yet to even place a wager there yet, but I love the site, and am very comfortable having money there, due to the good reviews they have gotten here. I appreciate the fact that Jake is available, and you can actually speak to him. I look forward to taking Jake's money this football season.

I'm glad it worked out. There was no offer to the player in the email sent so a little PR helped. A little spin to save face and we are all happy again.

Dam sure NO apology will be coming.

A player asks for his money, give him his frigging money, not a song & dance.. end of story.

Buzzsaw,

Maybe you mis-understood....I SAVED THE CLIENT $250 BY TELLING HIM TO ONLY TAKE OUT $1300, and it was sent BEFORE YOU POSTED ON YOUR SITE. In fact, I called him as soon as I saw your post, and he already had his control # and was on his way to WU. Had I processed his request, as he requested it, he would have been penalized the bonus and the winnings.

"A player asks for his money, give him his frigging money, not a song & dance.. end of story." So, in your point of view, I should have immediately sent the money to the client and penalize him his $250 and his winnings from that bonus?

Buzz, I honestly hate this. I really do. It brings me no pleasure fighting with you constantly. It does create more hits on the Rx, I guess....and your site, too. Maybe that is the reason you are so stubborn and obstinant in your opinions. Or maybe you are getting paid on the side...who knows. I refuse to do so, so that is the end of that, I guess.

The client says you were wrong and that you misrepresnted him....does that count for anything? Whatever your reasons, Buzz...however many times you think you were right in the past...this time, this time you are dead wrong...and it shows.

I don't even see why SBR would post this

quote:
"Upon looking into your situation I see that you will be requesting the full amount of winnings in your account. I also see that you have in fact meet all rollover requirements that we ask for when playing with our bonus. Doesn't say payment is being refused, delayed, etc. Even before Jake cleared this up, it didn't make any sense.

Why doesn't everyone focus on getting player money out of Panama and leave this petty shit for later?
