There has been a lot of bashing of sportsbooks lately. Most of my posts to date have been negative, so I thought I would thrown my 2 cents in about a great family of books that does not receive enough good posts. Namely, www.sportbet.com

Sportbet is managed by Jake Slater. It is part of a family of books that offer good lines and great redeposit bonuses. There are going to be disagreements between books and customers, that is a given. It is important that the GM of the book be willing to step up and deal with the problems as opposed to running and hiding from them. Jake is that kind of guy.

Thanks for the post Burned, I agree. We always hear the bad and rarely does anyone take the time to prop a book who does everything right. Appreciate it.

Dime line up to 150? Played there awhile, don't like the software much but they were nice and paid.

Glad to hear that you are happy here and that you got the right impression. Gotta say it is nice to get a little pat on the back for our people. I will definately pass on the kind word. We try our best and I do try to make sure that I am available and responsive to our clients and their needs.

The title of this thread contradicts the many experiences of posters who don't agree with that statement.

You might want to do a search of the archives here and at other forums and see what many others have had to say about this book.

Ninja,

Posters might have their opinions, but we have never stiffed anybody, we have been around since the very beginning of this industry...we were one of the pioneers. We have grown every single year, both in handle and in clientele. I try and make sure we treat every client as a welcome guest and I make sure that my clerks know that is what I expect.

The problem with the forums is, more often than not, only the client's view is heard. Most posters are players, so they fail to see the situation objectively...from both sides of the table. This sometimes clouds their judgement, as it does those of the posters who are bookies.

Some of the posters here are veteran players with an agenda and/or bonus hunters. People looking to say things and do things, at all costs, to make money...even if it means cheating. Others still are simply players looking for a solid out that pays. Unfortunately, not all information posted here is accurate. Most times, it is closer to the tabloids that spit out heresay and gossip.

That being said, I would be more than happy to answer any of the naysayers in regards to my company and our policies. I have always been here for posters and non-posters alike. I have always made sure people got paid and our company can never be called a stiff book...not while I am here, that I guarantee. That is my challenge, those that want may take me up on it.

We offer great bonuses, a variety of props on a daily basis, daily payouts, 24/7 Customer Service, interesting features and reports for our clients, and we are striving to improve on a daily basis. I am proud of Sportbet and our group of books. Proud of the fact that over the years, we were one of the constants....and confident in the fact that we always will be.

I look forward to hearing from some of you in the near future. Thank you for your time.

They profile you, a big negative in my opinion.

I closed my account there once I caught on to what they were doing.

And jake please don't bother coming in here and denying it like v wager does.

Pancho,

Yes, we profile our clients. We want to know who is a mover and shaker. We want to know who is wise and who is just lucky. We would be stupid to let all the wiseguys hit us at the same number without moving it. I would think every single book does this. I appreciate the feedback, thanks for the post.

Jake
