Well since Journeyman has been banned, I will start a new thread about the tournament.

We need 16 total players. 6 have paid thus far and Pat McIrish should get in as well. I will also have my money taken out tonight after Oakland kicks all ass over Anaheim.

So we need around 6-8 more players.

Well the first 8 people to post the $200 to www.sportbet.com are in. After sending the cash, please inform Jake about so he can update the list.

Jake, please post the list here updated. I will post the list again here as well!!

A few suggestions have been made to better the tourney....

Payout is the same as last time

$2000 1st
$1500 2nd
$1000 3rd
$500 4th

The first rd will be 15 selections, BASEBALL ONLY, sides and totals again ..

2nd rd 15 selections
3rd rd 20
4th rd 20

We need to get the money sent in to Jake ASAP so we can make sure this starts next monday...Fee is 200 dollars , SportBet is putting up 1800 AGAIN!

Well we have the 16 top handicappers from this site join the contest with a $200 entry fee that is posted up and held at spotbet.com. That makes our total $3200 in the pool.But here where the fun starts!!

Sportbet has agreed to throw in an additional $1800 into the post to make our total pot $5000!

We randomly draw for first round matches where you face one competitor and the one who wins more money that week with the 15 selections advances to the second round. Then the same goes for the second round with 8 players.

When we get to the final 4, then you are guaranteed at least $500. $500 goes to 4th, $1000 goes to 3rd, $1500 to second and $2000 to first!

Now please keep in mind that only top handicappers usually play in post up tournaments, but maybe you can beat us anyway!

Anyone is welcome to play. This is the 4th time that we have ahd this competition in the past 5 months and it is a hit everytime!!!

It was a joke in other words!! Calm down a bit! Would it matter that much if you were banned anyway?? Maybe then you could actually do something everyday! We might be doing you a favor by letting your hobbies expand in other directions!

I hope that you are getting paid at least $30,000 a year for being here! If not, then you waste a WHOLE Lot of time on this site. But since you are a moderator like you told me, then I am sure that you are getting paid. On that note, since you are a mod, then why isnt your name in bold?

You are the one who told me that you were a mod, and I believed you until now! Someone emailed me and told me that you were banned for some reason, so I believed them as well. Not sure why it would matter to me and why he would tell me that, but I dont care anyway. I just want to get the tournament underway.

I have only been tough on the mods lately since they come on the boards and say that they make above $60,000 for doing this in another thread. NOW I KNOW that cant be true! Hell guys like IRailbird or JJ would do it for $500 bucks a year I think if they were asked!

Any changes in the rules? Someone suggested that we forget about emailing the picks and make it illegal to duplicate your oppenents plays. This gives incecntive to post your plays early.
