Special situation -- (12-8 ytd)

My last Special Situation was 6 days ago, a tough loss with Detroit Pistons -5.5 winning by just 4 points. Tonight I found a situation not seen very often. PHOENIX OWNS PORTLAND.

The Suns are 2-0 against Portland so far this season and over the past 3+ seasons are 11-0 SU over Portland and 15-1 SU over the past 4+ seasons. Let me say that again. 11-0 and 15-1 both SU against Portand and the Suns are a 4.5 point DOG tonight. It dosn't matter where the Suns play Portland. During this time the Suns are 5-0 SU and ATS at Portland.

11 games all won by Phoenix. 16 games all but one game won by Phoenix. This kind of dominance is special.

PLAY PHOENIX +4.5.

If you want to play the money line for a 12th SU win in a row, it's +165 and I'm playing it for a little, but I'm just counting the ATS play.

I have Suns and the Over. Wrong team favored here. Phoenix is stacked, Shaq is at his best right now (this season), they are getting back to a more up-tempo style, and with the addition of Jason Richardson, they are that much stronger. Portland has some young talent, but the Suns are starting 5 future all-stars (if Richardson starts instead of Barnes). Phoenix wins tonight 109-102.

All very true Deke101, but tonight you can throw everything out the window. All that mattered to me was finding a team as a dog who has won SU 11 in a row against the other team. My God, do the math.

Phoenix is up by 7 at the half and we are getting 4.5 points. I'm not going to say anymore till it's over. I don't want anyone to say I jinxed my play. However, if anyone wants out of their play, you can go for a nice middle with a middle from Phoe +4 to Portland +3.

That hurt bad. To lose by a half point after Nash misses a layup at the end of the game is bad enough, but it lost because Portland closed the game on a 7-0 run. Why tonight for Portland to break the 11 game losing streak, which did you notice was not mentioned during the game until right after the start of the third quarter. Sounds like somebody didn't want second half money on the Suns. Sorry for liking this one too much, but I really thought we would be fine, especially when getting 4 points.

My plays are now 12-9. Not very good anymore

don't beat yourself up, you had the right side. If Roy doesn't go ridiculously off, Phoenix wins this game, just bad luck the last couple of possessions. I've been on that side too many times to mention
