PHILLY AT ORLANDO

Home favorites who lost game one don't want to play away already down 0-2. So far Boston, San Antonio and Portland did win their second game SU but only San Antonio won by enough to cover the full game spread. Except for Portland, they came out "hot" and easily covered the first quarter. Portland covered also but by just a half point after a buzzer beater three.

Tonight it's Orlando, already down a game at home, in the same situation as the other three teams. Big line tonight at -10.5 which could go down in garbage time. However, the first quarter is different. Orlando does need to win by 4, which is easier than having to win the full game by 11. Look for a fast start by Orlando and.............................

If you go back and look at some of the boxscores you will see some games where the home team seemed to let up in the second quarter and failed to cover the first half. Also, for the half you would need to be up by 7 instead of up just 4 for the first quarter.

the lakers covered the spread in the first quarter and at halftime in both of the games against the jazz...ive noticed this about utah, at home they usually get off to a good start against teams (not saying it will happen against the lakers) but through out the season. And on the road they usually get off to a bad start ( first quarter bet) its been good money..
