Karol
I appreciate you taking the time to respond to this post, but let me be perfectly clear: I have never, ever signed up for any newsletter or "keep me posted" type of service from Olympic. You might well find my e-mail address on your mailing list, but it was not I who put it there. A responsible company, especially one of Olympic's stature in the industry, would add the (no extra cost or work on your part) feature of requiring newsletter and update subscriptions to be verified by subscribers.
Once again, I appreciate you responding, but there's nothing to work out as far as I am concerned. I don't join mailing lists with the address in question -- not any mailing lists, yours or otherwise -- and as I said above, I have not visited the Olympic site in at least a year and have never had an account with you. You are practicing irresponsible marketing practices.
I hope your new poker site is a smashing success and makes you enormous piles of dough, and I also hope you one day soon implement a two-step subscription process which requires subscribers to your newsletter to confirm their signup manually, which will cut down on people who don't want newsletters cluttering up their Inboxes from receiving them.
