For tonight:
Hou/Pit Under 9 Even (Villone,Benson)
No fireworks in store here as both these offensive attacks have struggled. Pittsburgh hits only .240 at home vs. lefties, and the 'Stros have hit righties at only a .231 clip the last ten games.
But I'm banking on Benson. Houston has hit over .200 only 4 of their last nine games; those games being against Milwaukee, Texas, and Arizona, none of which have powerhouse staffs these days.
Villone's pitched well, and I have enough faith in Benson to keep the Houston bats down and keep this one under.
