I agree. Let the fans see it, but at the end of the day, when the guy retires he should be able to bring the ball to his house, or sell it, or whatever he wants. I know I'll never see that ball no matter where its held or who "owns" it.

Had I been playing first that game, that ball would have been launched into the stands outta excitement, along with the jersey, hat and glove. Players make enough money not to please the fans with suviniers(sp).
