2 Units. That's as big as my college plays get.

Just better on offense and defense and at home. Kansas won't know what hit them.

Kansas IMO is once again flying under the radar...I watched them play a lot last year and 2x already this year. I have to disagree with SO FLA having a better offense. Reesing a better QB than Grothe IMO. SO FLA has better recievers (Fields being out for Kansas especially makes this statement true). Kansas better special teams. SO FLA got the home field advantage. SO FLA has running game advantage. They more and more I look at this game it's an absolute toss up and shouldn't be touched...I think that's the best play...sit home on a Friday and just enjoy what should be a really good football game

South Florida's defense will prove to be pathetic this year, and Mike Ford is injured at Running Back.

What's wrong with Fields? Is he #80?

#80 is Dezmon Briscoe....kid was really impressive @ WR for KU last week.....just looked it up. He's going to get most of the passes thrown his way. Also looks like the JUCO RB may get the start for KU Friday Night. I am not sold on USF because no one will overlook them this year and I am not sold on their defense at all. Losing Moffit and others to graduation hurt them badly. And keep an eye on the injuries from last week on D.....if those guys aren't able to play...there is not freakin way I play USF at home, away or Mars for that matter.

WR fields being out for Kansas is a big blow. But just as bad of a blow is Kansas CB Kendrik Harper being out. He was considered their best cover corner. And I don't know who on this board said Kansas receivers are better than SF's...Their NOT.

Not to mention Alvarado for USF, the WORST kicker in America, back to his usual self, 1-4 on FG's this year.

There is no way he can be worse than that clown on Rutgers..

There are 10 year olds in the punt, pass and kick contest that put up a better kick than him..

Where do you reach that conclusion about USF's defense? They held UCF to just 225 yards on their home field. USF basically had a scimmage game against Tenn-Martin in their first game of the season..Don't you think they've been working on Kansas schemes? My bet is this is ALL they have been doing.

Well they lost 104 tackles with Moffitt, and they lost 3 corners, 1 which was an All-American (Mike Jenkins) and another 2nd Team Big East (Trae Williams). They also replace 6 Front linemen who played in some form or fashion last year, although with Selvie coming back, most of those are replacable IMO. The biggest question mark is CB, and to your point.....they have not been tested yet. UCF lost Kevin Smith and their QB Israel. They only had 5 starters back on Offense. I am not sold on the USF Defensive backfield and a guy like Reisling could pick them apart.

That UCF game, the final one in that big rivalary was an emotional one....and I do not see USF duplicating the effort. But hey....I've been wrong before!

I think it's a wash because I don't have any faith in Kansas defensive backfield either..They lost Talib early to the NFL, and lost Harper this week. So basically all they'll have back there is a junior replacement with limited starts and a sophomore. The Kansas defensive backfield was already down a few notches from last season. But with Harper out they'll be exposed...If you don't like SF in this game because of their defense, why don't you just play the over total?
