The kicker is that South Florida's QB is from Tallahassee...
Almost losing to Jacksonville State (a 1-AA program) at home and now this loss at home will end Bowden's career in the same way Appalachain State ended Lloyd Carr's career. Anyone else wouldn't survive Monday morning, but Bowden will be allowed an end of the season dignified "retirement", similar to Carr's.
FSU is on the clock to make Fisher the head coach or pay him some serious scratch, so they will make the move now. This whole NCAA penalty of "vacating" wins (which is bullshit, by the way), will make the race with Paterno moot, so he'll be done. Don't get me wrong--I think he's among the greats, but I think he's done.

<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Somewhere on this forum 2+ years ago, I stated that in 7-9 years that South Florida would be practically on even terms with FLORIDA, FLORIDA STATE, and MIAMI.
This program will have come FULL CIRCILED the day the Bulls defeat one of these three teams.
Last night was a HUGE sounding board!!!

Will have to find THAT...
Even the leftover players Miami, Florida, and FSU leave for South Florida are as good or better than the majority of the nation.
However, let's not get too carried away because it's quickly becoming evident that Florida isn't a top 10 team this year.....
Donahue for Iowa will be a contender............one of the best punters in the nation the last two years.
