I realize their last meeting was on 9-6-06 with USF barely winning a struggle 21-20 at Raymond James Stadium. That day, USF closed as a 19 point favorite.:scared1:

Will history repeat itself? Or does anyone think the Bulls can waste the Panthers by more than 4 TDs? :think2:

Thoughts would be appreciated by anyone. Thanks in advance.

Florida International is one of the worst teams in D-I football but 28 points is an awful lot, especially for a team coming off a highly emotional win on national TV. Now they're on the road to play a nobody with no attention paid to them at all. The situation is right for a letdown, but horrible teams -- like FIU -- simply should not be bet, in my opinion, no matter the size of the spread.

Thank you very much for your opinion. :aktion033

I agree with your assessment that South Florida may be ripe for a letdown. However, FIU is truly one of the worst teams in NCAA football.

From a recruiting aspect, the head coach for USF may beat up on these sad sacks pretty bad. There will probably be quite a few Miami high school recruits at the game, and he may want to make a statement for their benefit. Talent is abundant in the Dade County area, so this makes sense.

If someone was putting a gun to my head, I would have to bet the Bulls in this game. It could get ugly. Something like 52-17. :machinegu

The only thing good about FIU is the new stadium they unveil this weekend. This program cannot play true D-1 football now or even in the near future.

I have to say, an average Iowa team covered 28 with ease against these guys, even if there is some sort of a let down I don't see FIU staying within the number, huge talent gap and FIU's coach is clueless.

What part of Florida are you at?

I'm originally from Miami, and I know that FIU simply blows chunks - well, at least this year's edition.

USF should steamroll these guys.
Im from the 561.

What most people don't know is...their OC, Coley, is now at FSU. Kansas hung 35 on this team. Their only score came on a special teams td return. USF has a better defense than Kansas and they just beat them. USF hung (29?) on a better UCF defense, on the road, in a rival game. Bulls are going to destroy FIU

Bump Up the Volume

This game will be a BLOWOUT, no?

Someone talk me out of betting the South Florida Bulls to crush the FIU Panthers! :smoker2:
