Looks like another could be falling from King Obamas Court

Federal agents this morning are searching the Judiciary Square office of Washington, D.C.'s Chief Technology Officer.

The search is part of "an ongoing investigation," said a spokeswoman for the FBI's D.C. Field Office, Lindsay Gotwin, said. She declined to comment further.

The outgoing Chief Technology Officer, Vivek Kundra, was appointed last week Chief Information Officer by the Obama administration.

Source: Obama technology official on leave after FBI raids his old DC office, arrests 2

* Devlin Barrett and Nedra Pickler, Associated Press Writers

WASHINGTON (AP) -- An aide to President Barack Obama is on leave from his White House job after the FBI raided his old District of Columbia government office Thursday, arresting a city employee and a technology consultant on corruption charges, a White House official said.

The charges were lodged against the two men at a federal court hearing as the FBI finished searching the city's technology office, which was led until recently by Obama's new computer chief, Vivek Kundra.

Kundra is on leave from his White House job until further details of the case become known, according to a White House official speaking on condition of anonymity because the official did not want to publicly discuss personnel matters.

You don’t think, nah. I have to believe that Vivek Kundra is on leave because he worked to hard. I mean look at other BO appointees…

Bill Richardson - withdraws, under investigation for alleged pay-for-play schemes in New Mexico

Tom Daschle - withdraws, forgot to pay his taxes

Timothy Geithner - also forgot to pay his taxes and now he’s Treasury Secretary.

Sen. Judd Gregg - withdraws sighting differences of opinion.

Charles W. Freeman Jr. - withdraws, presumably because of his financial ties to China and Saudi Arabia.

Must be a coincidence.

Source: attorney withdraws from Treasury job

Mar 12, 2009 6:54 PM (15 mins ago) By MARTIN CRUTSINGER, AP

WASHINGTON (Map, News) - A prominent New York attorney has withdrawn from consideration for the No. 2 job at the Treasury Department, the second person to drop out of the running for the post, a Democratic source said Thursday. The Democratic source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because it involved personnel matters, said that H. Rodgin Cohen had asked to have his name removed from consideration for the job of deputy Treasury secretary.
The Obama administration has had trouble filling posts at the Treasury Department, leaving Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner as the only official whose nomination has cleared the Senate confirmation process as the administration grapples with the worst economic crisis in seven decades.

Looks like Obama appointee Eric Holder's USDOJ is doing a good job of identifying corrupt government employees.

What gives you the goofy idea that a local would be for legalized gambling?

The Associated Press

Wed, Mar 18, 2009 (2:15 p.m.)

Now it can be told: The mysterious petty theft that President Barack Obama's new computer chief committed at age 21 was shoplifting four dress shirts worth $134 from J.C. Penney.

A 1996 Montgomery County, Md., police report obtained by The Associated Press on Wednesday under a public records law shows Vivek Kundra was observed by a security guard putting the men's shirts into a shopping bag and leaving the store without paying. Sgt. Tom Stanton wrote that Kundra was arrested after a brief foot chase and the property was recovered.

Kundra pleaded guilty, paid a $100 fine and $55 in court courts and was ordered to do 80 hours of community service. The White House has called a "youthful indiscretion" long ago resolved.

Oh well, can't win em all :Carcajada:

All's well that ends well

Former President GW Bush's twenty years of Youthfully Indiscretional cocaine use did not stop him from faithfully carrying out the duties of POTUS for eight years.

I think all of us have something in our earlier years which we overcame and today we're pretty much okey dokey

I just love how the Republican and Democrat homers don't get the joke is always on US.

I don't care what party you affiliate yourself with, they are basically screwing all of us, but you all continue to blindly support either party.

WAKE UP!
