There's an old adage that all of us know "On any given Sunday...". Which means that there's always a chance for any team to win.
That being said, a good prognosticator is going to take a look at the statistical and emotion condition of both teams, considering all of those factors that indicate which team is most likely to win against the spread.
I haven't seen a good analyisis or comparison indicating how the Eagles are superior in any statistical or emotional category - just the opposite.
There's always an opportunity that the Eagles could win, but right now everything is leaning in the Patriots favor.
And please, don't give me any of that "McNabb is gonna killem" crap! McNabb is only one of 11 players on the field, and if the others aren't ALL playing their "A" game against a Pats defense that will have to be playing it's "D" game, they won't score a TD.
On the other side of the ball, the Eagles defense will have to figure out how to stop both Cory Dillon and Tom Brady - or the Patriots will score 4 or 5 TDs. Remember that the Patriotrs O line gave Brady a ton of time t0 march the Patriots dowwnfield and score 4 TDs against the vaunted Pitt D.
The Eagles are a good team who deserve recognition, but the odds are stacked against them.
