I am watching the Seattle / vikings game and I found it interesting that Seahawks would rather go for it on 4th and 13 instead of trying a 47 yard field goal attempt. I thought I saw a prop bet of longest FG made of over or under 44.5 yards . So if a team with a good kicker who has made FGs over 50 yards will not even attempt a 47 yarder . Would it make sense in these cold weather ( maybe 5 degrees Celsius or less ) to play the under on that prop in future games? Or maybe I am missing something such as hauschka mild muscle strain or windy in that end of the stadium . I am interested in getting some input on this . Thanks in advance

Like kicking a bowling ball when its that cold. There may only be a handful of games all season where its below 20 all game. Would have to think the under on that prop would be very profitable.
Anyone willing to dig in for a bit of quick research?

Dude from Minny just drilled one from 43. Would of been good from deep.
Glad that rb fought for those extra 2 yards.

Bowling balls are hard to kick.
has nothing to do with the hardness of the ball it has to do with psi. they were suspecting that PSI in these balls could go as low as 9 or even 8. much tougher to kick an underinflated ball especially one that is underinflated badly (normal is 12.5-13.5). the guess is dropping about 15-20% of your normal max distance so if you could kick it normally 60 yards your max today would be 50
