I have been reading some and I guess if they play to a 2-2 tie, Italy is automatically eliminated.

The line currently is

Sweden +185
Denmark +260
Tie +120

Isn't that fishy??
This is the ONLY game so far to have a line like this.....

Something tells me you can ALMOST gurantee a 2-2 tie.....

lol

This is very interesting.

Pinnacle has +120 (low juice Pinnalce)

Olympic (higher juice Olympic) actually has this draw at a very nice +150.

I cant get on to ehorsex (exchange)
to see what it it at But I think it was +135 or so.

so why is Olympic baiting thousands to go for this obvious draw. Im confused witht that +150 they (olympic) are almost never that far out in left field.

IMHO the play would be to waget on both Sweden & Denmark...

If it ends in a Tie, so be it, you lose, But I dont really buy all these conspiracy theories...Much greater probability that one team or the other will win...

can't say that would be great advice. If either team wins you would profit 0.85 or 1.6 units

tie would set you back 2 units. Have you seen the frequency of ties in soccer? Usually pretty high

You guys haven't heard the scenario eh? Both teams qualify for the next round if they tie and score 2 goals or more each. I don't know if I would guarantee it, but wouldn't surprise anyone to happen. Anyone remember the Mexico-Italy game in the last World Cup, moment it went 1-1 the two teams started looking like they were practicing their mid-field passing skills.

it would surprise me if Denmark is happy with a tie

winner of the group goes on to play probably Germany, who has scored a total of 1 goal thus far (in 2 ties against Netherlands and Latvia) and will only advance because the chechs have the top position wrapped up.

2nd place in the group goes on to play Chech, who are 2-0 and scored 5 goals in the process.

Big difference in the next round IMO.

I can see Sweden playing for a tie, as they have the tiebreaker wrapped up, but certainly not Denmark

Perhaps if they get to 2-2 then they might just play it out, however if they THEY STILL HAVE TO GET TO THAT POINT

That Being Said I will be playing:

Tue 6/22 264 Denmark pk +106 +251 Props

11:43 AM 265 Sweden pk -116 +202
266 - Draw +120

1/2 Unit Denmark + 251
1/2 Unit Sweden + 202
1 Unit Over 2.5 -115

a 0-0 or a 1-1 Draw would not be good at all, however anything else, & I am doing Ok...Ideal would be a 2-1 Denmark Victory

Lets hope for a tie because the Azzuri playing in a major tournament have got to be one of life's most boring things. Thank goodness they probably won't face Germany, that would have been the most certain lock in history of a 0-0 tie after 120 minutes of "action".

Another thing is that Denmark has not allowed a goal to be scored on them yet.

Wouldnt you think that Denmark at +250 is a good deal?!?!?!

Unless this is true about a tie conspiracy, you'd think DENMARK would be the favorite...but SWEDEN is....

This is a very weird setup

Sweden is just a superior team with superior resources, that is why they are favored even with Denmark being the better situational play. I still think though it is dangerous to play this game at all. The tie is such an obvious threat, but then again it is priced in a way that makes it unplayable. I think books love games like this though, they get these floods of people thinking they have the situation totally figured out and then reality bites them.

Another situation where the books are taking full advantage of the sheep. The price for 2-2 is half the norm, lay the draw and when someone scores, act accordingly.

At the low odds they are giving a 2-2 tie it is not worth it in my opinion. Just put yourself in their shoes if you are up 2-1 with 10 minutes to play are you going to give the other team a goal and then risk a fluke late goal by your opponent and you end up going home? I would perhaps bet the tie, but not the 2-2 tie.

A 2-2 tie is much harder to orchestrate than a 0-0 or 1-1 but nothing surprises me anymore in these types of tournaments. Sweden is definitely the stronger team here and if this was the 1st match of the group and not the 3rd they'd probably come on top by 2.

That being said, if these teams come out with a 2 all tie I would hate to be the players returning to Serie A (Italy top league and where some of the Swed/Dane players play) next season as the Italian fans will surely make their lives a living hell.

Hmm, a 2-2 score is looking quite possible at this moment. Notice Italy is playing like they totally expect it and according to match reports (since we can't watch the games here those p***ks), they are showing zero emotion or effort. My guess is if it gets to 2-2, both teams will stop playing.

It's certainly looking that way right now, if the Italians go ahead 2-1, you can expect that other game to hit 2-2 soon after.

A tragic side note to the games:

LISBON, Portugal (AP) An English soccer fan was stabbed to death early Tuesday after trying to defend himself against a suspected Ukrainian pickpocket, police said.

Stephen Smith, 28, was stabbed once through the heart near Rossio square downtown, police spokesman Alexandre Coimbra said. Smith was dead on arrival at Sao Jose Hospital.

The Ukrainian, whose name was not provided, was chased by police and arrested. Police believe the killing was not related to the European Championships. Ukraine does not have a team at the tournament.

''The Ukrainian was hanging around, looking to steal from a group of English fans,'' Coimbra said. ''When they tried to defend themselves he pulled a knife and stabbed one of them before running away.''
