I have a buddy who is in secret service and he’s been texting me cool pics and videos all week.

we were thinking of taking a 90 minute drive north today to the beach to watch the take off. Not sure why we didn’t?

Amazing. What an awesome sight. In 1984 I watched a shuttle liftoff and was 1 mile away. It was like seeing God, the awesomeness of it.

Don had little to do with this but NASA did.. In 2011 NASA gave spaceX a contract to develop a manned craft at the direction of President Obama.
