They have better players...more experience...confidence is sky high...this isn't exactly a huge road trip. Not a look ahead game coming up??? I'm open to be shot down at liking a road favorite...criticisms welcome and someone tell me why they like Penn:toast:

While I haven't really been following Penn St too closely this year...but I see Taylor Battle is shooting over 56% from downtown so far (with 5.8 attempts per game)..he shot it 28% last year from beyond the arc so there is reason for skepticism there. Cornley is the teams best rebounder (again leading the team with I think 8 per game) but he's only 6-5..which is part of the reason this team always seems to struggle so much on defense I feel. David Jackson is a kid who has always been nothing more than a defensive specialist - he's fourth on the team in scoring with 9.5 a game, not sure he can keep that up vs better defenses. Basically, this team is shooting the ball very well against some cupcakes so far, but they have struggled with defense for a while now, are basically employing the same personnel - and while they went 7-11 somehow in the B10 last year, I really didn't like that team at all. Personally I don't really have a side as I know minimal about this Penn team...just know Penn St is a team I'll probably look to fade instead of back this year (unless they can prove this shooting has been no fluke). Good luck, hope this helped a bit, probably scatter brained as I'm doing some other things at the same time here.

I like PSU here. There guards are so damn quick. I think they win by 5.

Sorry, in the middle of something will write more late.

....without further 'capping, my model has PSU winning by 9.4

I'll look into this game more later. Seems like a play at first glance.

Good Luck on your action.

considering their 3-0 why are they only such a small favorite?

answer: while penn was playing the tar heels in chapel hill and some decent teams, penn st was playing a bunch of crap...honestly if penn st was any good the line would be -6-7

good luck which ever way you lean:toast:

Game will be low scoring, I know that much. Watched PENN 2x this year and they're in no hurry to score. As well as Penn State. Penn State is VERY experienced with EVERYONE back and they're a sleeper team in the BIG 10...I think they finish in the top 4 in the BIG 10 this year.

Penn State covers in a low scoring type game...(i'm showing -3.5)

Penn State wins 72-65

Tyler Bernandini is overrated and that's because he had a good game shooting 3's against UNC. When I watched him against Drexel, I saw a guy who can't create his own shot and really lacks any big time playing ability. Penn is average at best, and Penn St should take care of Pennsylvania.

Told yah...Penn State just too good for Penn. Penn will probably make a run, but should be a comfy win.

Made a small play on Penn -2.5 2nd half...didn't post but liked it after Penn St went 8-9 from downtown first half.Battle was 3-3 and Pringle 4-4 or something...cooled in the 2nd, still SA coasts to a nice victory, happy to see it all around - still don't like this Penn St team much for the record.
