Most OVERRATED COACH in college basketball...
More kids in the NBA and chokes EVERY YEAR... Anthony Davis won him a championship or he would have ZERO.. HE WILL NEVER WIN ANOTHER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP... He gets out coached every fucking year.. great recruiter but horrible at X's and O's...
If you like Elite 8 or Sweet 16 he is your man .. But if you want to win it all get another coach..
I am sick of watching this big game loser get out coached..

Never is a long time. His team wasn't exactly big favorites this year. I don't think there's any embarrassment in losing to Auburn.

5* one and done freshmen that think they are LeBron are not ideal to win the whole she-bang. Some have hangers on that tell them how great they are and that coach doesn’t take care of their best interests.
Sure some teams have won the big game with them but overall it’s a clusterschtook.
I don’t like Calipari but he’s in a tough spot in many ways as it relates to delivering a national championship.
I think the Final Four this year is loaded with veteran experienced players not 4-5 one and done super studs (that are looking at the mock drafts) in the starting lineup.

I'd rather be happy with a program that is excited to make the NCAA's two of the last 3 years. You remind me of a guy I met on a plane with an Ohio State jersey on and I said "great year", his response, "no it wasn't we lost a game". Be thankful for having the opportunity to get this far every year.

Was at the KY game today...Herro (a freshman), spent the whole game avoiding the ball and the shot which, I think, backs up the statement that teams with some level of experience managed to advance and that does not include the group of Duke freshmen. Good for the teams that built themselves rather than just throwing talent on the court and hoping for the best.

Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist would like a word with you.

And you UK fans should fire Cal and definitely go back to what you had before, a laughing stock of a program. You guys(gals?) act like making the final 4 is easy? It's a 1 and done tournament and every team can be beaten by a weaker team on any given night. That's why teams like 85' Hoyas and 91' running rebels don't win the title. Coach K and his 4 first round draft picks and 2 second rounders lost to a team of G-League players and future accountants tonight. Should he be fired too?

Completely agree. Duke was supposed to be a shoe-in for the finals this year. How soon some of us forget Michigan and the Fab 5. It's not easy winning an NCAA championship or making the final 4. Too often, I think fans just expect everyone to be the Patriots. There are few sports where a team can be at an elite level for years, and certainly college basketball will never fit that mold since it is rare to have players for more than a couple of years.

My advise I frequently give sports fans (and it applies to living life and all it's bumps as well)

ENJOY THE RIDE

In sports, there's only one champion, but lots of fan bases should of had a fun season.

UK Athletics has confirmed to WKYT that the University of Kentucky has "agreed to terms on a long-term contract with Coach Calipari to finish his career at Kentucky." A report earlier on Monday said that Kentucky head coach John Calipari was offered a lifetime contract to stay with the Wildcats after UCLA showed a renewed interest in the coach. Seth Davis with The Athletic reports the lucrative deal would slightly increase his compensation, which is already at $9.2 million this year. Terms would be for 10 years along with a promise to be a paid lifetime ambassador when Calipari is done coaching. UCLA offered Calipari a six-year, $48 million deal, but it has since moved on to other candidates after Calipari squashed any rumors of leaving. Calipari has made the NCAA Tournament in all but one year since coming to Kentucky in 2009. He won a national championship in 2011-12 and reached the Final Four three other times.
