As in full of shit. The Pats finished one notch above the Hawks in D, statistically, the Hawks don't even hold a candle to them on the O side. Get all the Hawks ya want!!! I'll be at the gate collecting money.

I'm mostly a college bettor, but two of my key factors in betting are the coach and the QB. Give me Brady\Belichick\McD with two weeks to prepare and I will take it. I just don't think the Seahawks are dynamic enough to move the football, they have no deep threat receivers without Percy Harvin. They are somewhat one dimensional and that won't be enough to beat Bill B. Russel Wilson running around and throwing up prayers are going to be pick 6.

Interesting. You don't look at defense as a key factor?

Ya know, I've had a great deal of respect for you and your posts, but to come into my thread and question me,.......mmmmmmh. Here ya go: http://www.covers.com/pageLoader/pa...tistics/2014-2015/defense_playoffs_yards.html

Read it and weep, Pats roll in this game, if ya don't like that, well hell, there should be an elevator door where you're staying.

I'm sorry but you cherry pick one stat and you think you've made a valid point? And at that, you pick yards per game?! At the very least, you'd think you'd look at points allowed. But that still wouldn't include strength of schedule (I see Seattle listed at 3 and NE at 11). Using your stat as the sole determinant is beyond illogical. Next thing you'll be doing is only looking at playoff stats, so in essence, focusing on the last two games only. How about being objective and looking at the regular season (yeah, every one knows what happened a week and a half ago)

The Pats didn't finish anywhere near Seattle in defense.

Seattle’s defense: #1 vs. the pass, #1 in total yards, and #1 in points allowed; prior to NFC Conference Championship held 7 straight opponents to 17 points or less

Good point, need to look at all the different angles and like I said I like to bet on college, this game is more of just a novelty bet for me if I decide to pull the trigger. One of the interesting match-ups in this game will be Gronk vs Seattle secondary. I think Gronk out-weighs these guys by 40-50 pounds and in the SB last year I thought that the Seattle secondary really set the tone early on when they got very physical with Denver's only physical receiver in Demarius Thomas(and no for those wondering there is nothing physical about Denver TE Julius Thomas). I almost feel that Gronk can batter these guys especially if they are already injured if they take that same approach. I would look for Blount and Gronk to test some of these injuries early on to see how injured they really are.
