These went 2-1 so maybe I can pick my nose a
little bit. The best boxing forum on the Net
(this one!) has tailed off a bit as of late.
Maybe you guys are preoccupied with something
else. I miss the discourse and analysis.

There hasnt been much to discourse and analyize as of late. I mean HBO has had alot of fights lately but I havent seen a matchup that I really want to bet on for awhile.

The last 2 weeks of US coverage has sucked IMO. The foreign bouts were much better. Most notably the last 2 cards in Carnival City looked awesome, but werent on uSA television. I dont care for all these -600 type bouts either. Laz vs Castillo might be the best bout coming up in june since the Marquez Pac war. televised anyway.

A fascinating card in Houston on July the 17th.... Zahir Raheem and Rocky Juarez will sqaure off in a battle of the undefeated olympions in an IBF eliminator. Also on the card is Lavka Sim vs Juan Diaz for the WBA Lightweight title.

now they`re throwing in teddy reid vs kermit cintron....

i really want to see raheem and cintron again...

no super high profile guys....but boxing fans know this will be 3 hotly contested, competitive bouts.....

the kind of card i`d recommend a casual boxing fan catch....this is the kind of card that can turn a guy into a boxing fan...

it`s gonna be a doozy....

Agree with Joey and Spinch here. I don't give a rat's rear if HBO does or doesn't sanction a fight. There is still lots of good action out there IF a guy looks for it. Love the Juarez-
Raheem matchup. Amazed that it's being made.
This past Friday nite at the Orleans here in
Sin City Juan Diaz was sitting in front of us.
Anyway, I'm with my squeeze and we are sitting with a couple of home boys(bros). One guy says
to Juan, " hey Juan, you remember me don't you?,
remember when we fought and I beat you?". Now we
know Juan is undefeated, and this is hilarious.
Diaz shakes his head, no-no-no and we all laugh
hysterically. He is a real gentleman and very
personable, I guess until he puts on the gloves.
And to reiterate, I like Lazcano in the fight.
Hey Joey, hear you and the Greek have or are going to part ways. Good luck in any case.

Has Joey posted on this board before?

Has anyone seen a line on Gatti vs Dorin? I have a huge interest in that fight. Now that
Freitas vs Corrales is official I will also be making a play on that. But I really want to see a line on Gatti vs Dorin.
