Anyone have or do this on their computer? I was told one company is currently in court for putting out the softare that enables you to burn DVD's that are bought from stores, and it will only be on the shelf a few more days, if that. Is there other software out there that enables you to do so? Thanks..........

you are 2 weeks to late for dvd x copy. They were directed by the court (and they complied) to pull the "ripper" out of their software. Without it, you can only copy History channel and Discovery channel and such.

BTW 321 studios sales went through the roof that last week they were able to sell the "ripper" version. Myself, thank God for Tech tv, I got my order in 1/2 before they pulled it off the market. Haven't used it yet, but I hate being told what I can and cannot do.

CloneDvD by elaborate bytes with AnyDvD running in the background works really well.

also, The Latest version of Nero has DVD Shrink built in. Just download the demo and use a key generator to make it yours. I also recommend paying for ANYDVD because most DVD's are protected and won't copy without it

Thanks guys for the answers, even though I'm still just a bit confused since Ive never burned a DVD as I have Music CDs. I suppose I should ask, other than the one that was just recently pulled that allowed you to burn and copy DVD's on your comuter, is there other software out there that allows you to do the same? And will they be pulled soon? Thanks again........

Dan, someone at work today told me about Nero & DVD Shrink. I know Shrink was free, but now you say the newest Nero has Shrink included? Is Nero free?
