I was mugged(was at a self service terminal and some Jamaican snatched my credit voucher) in the center city one on June 5th 1992, chose to defend myself and was subsequently banned.
I have not tried to go back since.

I generally consider this type of thing, fact at three independent sources, because at that point it is fact enough for me to steer clear.
