Life long die hard Eagles fan here. Carson Wentz is the real deal and Philly is blessed to have gotten him. That said... THIS IS HIS THIRD NFL START. It is beyond me how anyone can look at the Philly team and project them as contenders. On a scale of 1-10 : WR corps are a 6 at best. Wentz needs targets and playmakers. He will be a playmaker himself...but Jesus Christ people, Wentz is not going to carry the team in his third NFL start vs arguablly a top 3 team in the entire NFL. Eagles run game will get shut down today. Wentz is going to take a beating and may even get hurt and knocked out of the game. No way in fking hell Philly wins today. Again, I am a life long die hard. just give the team some fking time before we anoint them contenders. WTF man.. It's silly. I cannot even listen to sports radio for all the callers thinking Carson Wentz makes the Eagles instant contenders.
The ONLY way Philly stays even close today is if the Philly D buries Big Ben. It is possible, but even if they do it - don't see The Pitss D letting Wentz have his way with mediocre WR corps. No fking way.
All that said.. Pitts rolls and Philly scores 13 at most. I am thinking 27-13 Pittsburgh.
