It's a good thing the Pats did this. Because if Blount had a regular weighted ball, it would have weighed him down, and the Colts would have easily held him to about 30 yards. :ohno:

Part of the investigation that still needs further vetting is how the 11 footballs became under-inflated.

Exactly. Lets not rush to judgement people.

The game balls provided to each team for preparation were required to be inspected and approved by referee Walt Anderson two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff before they were returned to each team.

2 hours and 15 minutes?!!? Jeex..."Free OJ" man. lmfao. A lot of misadventure can befall a football (or group of footballs) within 135 minutes and within the hectic atmosphere that is an AFC Championship Game. Maybe something fell over and landed on the balls, like, ESPN backdrop or a Medical table as it was being carried into the sidelines fell over and landed on the balls squishing them and causing them to lose air.

As Red Eye already said, you are missing the point. No one is saying they won because of it. It's the mentality that they have to break some rules. It's mind-boggling.

Brady in 2011.

It turns out that in 2011, Tom Brady admitted during a radio interview that he likes using deflated footballs.
The subject came up when Brady was asked about an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that was given to tight end Rob Gronkowksi after Gronk spiked the ball following a touchdown against the Jets in 2011.
"I didn't see it. I mean, he spikes it every time he scores, so I don't know if that's flagrant or what," Brady told WEEI-AM on Nov. 14, 2011, via ESPN.com. "When Gronk scores -- it was like his eighth touchdown of the year -- he spikes the ball and he deflates the ball. I love that, because I like the deflated ball. But I feel bad for that football, because he puts everything he can into those spikes."

and rubbing himself with a Belicheat hoodie.

Gray.

Just like he's gonna wear in this years game. Authentic "Starter"...well, to be accurate thats the old school authentic I'm wearing now, the newer one identical to what Bill will wear is at the cleaners so it'll be crisp for the Big Day when I will of course have it on. Just like Bill. That one is NIKE.

Peeps are hammering BLUE so much its down to -135. I am waiting to see if I can get Grey at +200 or better just to see if I can which maybe I can cuz maybe the squares keep hammerin' blue.

I'd bet it of course at less cuz I know he'll wear gray cuz its like I have a psychic connection with The Master which is how I know he didn't mess with those balls (or order anyone else to mess with those balls + Josh wasn't even there).

Gray to the BANK BABY!!!!

Quarterbacks know their balls like the back of their hand. If those balls were intentionally deflated, Tom Brady would know and would be behind it. Did they check the colts balls to see if it had anything to do with the weather or something?

Facts are not Facts if my mind won't allow me to look at the facts! My team wins and how it wins as long my team wins is all that matters.

Very True. Under normal circumstances but the hit Tom took in the very beginning of the game caused him, going forward and throughout the game, unusual numbness in his hands. That plus the frigid temperature left Tom unable to feel the balls as well as he normally would and, yes, he usually feels balls very very well.

NFL makes 'em pay come SB time.

Also, I could give a fuck about the balls... Yeah, it's not sportsmanlike, but the penalty is a fine... A fine, and going to the SB? Sign me up. The Colts still played pretty shitty with their balls.

I guess Brady likes his balls soft and Luck likes them hard.

most are missing the point here.. No one knew the outcome of the game would be this lopsided..but going into the game you're going to cheat... could have made a difference in a competitive game... They should suspend Belicheat for the Super Bowl

No, they shouldn't - because that's not what the punishment for this infraction is. The punishment is a fine and loss of draft picks.

They will lose a draft pick. This could have been done by the equipment manager without the coach and players knowledge. Plausible deniability.

It's crazy to me they'd do this against the Colts... It's the Colts. Until we know how 11 balls got deflated, it doesn't really matter what anyone says.
