it doesn't matter---people are only as good as their last pick, the problem is people jump on someone's wagon when their hot and then when they lose they blame them even though from a mathematical perspective you are more likely to lose on a big winning streak and more likely to win on a big losing streak assuming its at least a 50% capper

i've seen coin flip selections perform just as well over a season as an established capper. don't tell me it isn't luck. you can cap, but what does vegas do? vegas makes lines to balance games, which turns games into coin flips majority of the time. this is common sense, is it not?

dont want to get into an arguing battle with you, as i have nothing against your statement. just saying, if your good at betting, it's more than just luck. angles,trends etc...you know what? i really should conduct an experiement on coin flipping to pick games. i wont bet on them, but ill flip a coin for eahc matchup and ill post what the coin says to pick. hmm

it is what it is...i'm not trying to argue either, but it really is majority luck. you're also right about angles and trends, but it's mostly luck, and we both know that<><>

I believe in BAD LUCK lol. Getting backdoored... meaningless last second shots for a cover (wheter for or against you). Shit we've all been though. I like to think I know who the cover-team is before they play and that is that, there is no other option. But my plays this year, excluding small plays, is 65% or better.

yea ... you may run into a couple bad luck games, but overall, if you are a good capper, 2-4 games won't make or break you.

To be honest, I don't think there is anyone on this forum right now who is THE MAN, in terms of having a long history of winning in the tournament every year. Some of those guys are not around any more....

Floyd was my coach... ISU. He was a P.O.S. last year for the tourney... so I had them going out early. I'll have to see if I can have someone go down there again and watch practices.
