I was only 13 and did not even know it happened till the album/movie came out.

And I lived in Md. at the time and was a long haired wanna be freak.

But I did demonstrate against the war.

Marched on Washington D.C. and heard Jerry Ruben and others speak.

I also went into D.C. with friends when ML King marched into D.C. with his gang.

Was called Resurrection City where all the blacks built ply wood homes and squatted for weeks.

Was also in D.C. when MLK was shot(my dad was stationed at the pentagon)wow what a disaster that city was.

The Senators had to play all road games.

Not Woodstock, but I lived in San Francisco at the time of the "Summer Of Love" in the Haight/Ashbury. Still lingers there to this day.
